well they certainly don't need them for BLM riots.

 

That's kind of the whole point of the National Guard. As the name implies, they are routinely deployed to states other than their home state. The most common example would be to provide aid (medical services, food distribution, etc) following natural disasters.


We had them in Chicago during the big riot this summer. As distasteful as I find military occupation to be, I was happy when they arrived.

 

Too bad the victims of CHAZ weren't so lucky...
