It seems that that big truth and honesty seem to be the enemy of many of these Republican politicians. And Liz Cheney stands up for the truth, and that's got her a lot of heat. She may lose her position in the party; she may even lose her career as a politician, but that is something to be admired. Standing up for the truth, that's something I know her father wouldn't have done, so right now I'm kind of a fan of Liz Cheney.

Why would Kazim, as chairman of the Grand Traverse GOP Party, file a motion to quash the subpoena if he also voted in favor of getting rid of the machines in his county?

The resolution by the Grand Traverse Co. Republican Party Committee is incredible because it’s everything DePerno has been asking for in court that Hazim has been opposing in court.

Thousands of local students walk out in protest of Trump's election

Monday, November 14th 2016SEATTLE - Some aren't even old enough to vote, but that didn't stop thousands of students from taking a stand against President-elect Donald Trump on Monday.

About 5,000 students from 20 middle and high schools participated in the walkout, Luke Duecy with Seattle Public Schools said. The students who walked out of class will get an "unexcused absence," he said.

Police made three arrests. Monday night, police said none of those arrested was a student. But police said Tuesday that two people arrested -- an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old -- were students. The third person arrested was 30 years old.

The military celebrating LGBTQ+ is perfectly fine. Retired military generals attacking Trump in the press when he was the sitting president was perfectly fine. This though, yeah, it totally crosses the line.
