To a certain extent, I don't personally "get" it.

As in, my assumption is that the writers once read a description of "storytelling" on the Simple English version of Wikipedia, and decided that was enough.

And here it is, laid out clearly:

It's not about the people, or the nation. It's about the party.

Votes are the only thing which matter, because votes equal power.

we don't need more voters than we have today to win, we need illegal votes not to be considered legitimate.

Plus, what's the point in having a Republican majority when they are full of Democrats who only work to line their own pockets? They wouldn't even reverse Obamacare...

They most secure election in history:

Weird that the voting machines are pleading the 5th...

With all the lawsuits to prevent this audit, blatant refusal of court orders, stonewalling, gaslighting, and file deleting, one would almost assume there was something to hide?

There is no point, because here in the 21st century, there is no longer any difference between the Republican and Democrat parties. A lot of people seem to be acting as though their is.

Both parties want endless foreign military intervention, increased size of government, increased central control of the economy by way of subsidies and bailouts and stimuluses, and so on.

Your Puppet, ladies and gentlemen:

https://independentchronicle.com/bid...bESO8qWiWfahsk

President Joe Biden told reporters Wednesday during a press conference, “I’m not supposed to be answering all these questions.”

Biden delivered a statement from the White House about the ongoing effort to distribute COVID-19 vaccines. He took a question following his remarks about the violence between Israel and Palestine and another other about fuel shortages caused by the Colonial Pipeline hack.

As Biden began exiting the meeting, a reporter asked him, “What’s your take on the end of your meeting, sir? Were you optimistic coming out of it today?”

Biden responded, “Which one — which one of the 12 I’ve had?”

The reporter explained they were asking about a meeting between the President, Vice President Kamala Harris congressional leaders on infrastructure reform.

“You guys are bad. I’m not supposed to be answering all these questions,” Biden said as he returned to the podium. “I’m supposed to leave, but I can’t resist your questions.”

Last week White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted to reporters that the administration does not want Biden taking questions outside of the structured context of a formal press conference.

It “is not something we recommend,” Psaki explained. “He takes questions nearly every day he’s out [with] the press."

“A lot of times, we say, ‘Don’t take questions,’” Psaki admitted. “But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the president of the United States.”

Biden has made similar remarks in the past, telling reporters he was "going to be in trouble" if he continued answering questions during a meeting on April 27.

"I'm sorry," Biden said, after being pressed on his own mask-wearing habits and a possible summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "This is the last question I'll take, and I'm really gonna be in trouble."

He sounded a lot different. I don't see how he actually was any different.

Here's a chart of Federal spending, with the date on which the last three full-term presidents took office roughly marked:

Big spending increase under Trump, just like Bush. More government, bigger government.

No significant decreases in US military activity abroad (in non-US conflicts) either.

In what way is / was Trump significantly different?

Was he though? He made a big spectacle, but even with control of the House and Senate, nothing really got done. He sure looked like every other politician to me, stuffing his and his families pockets with taxpayer money every chance he got.
