ON SAME DAY PRESIDENT BIDEN SAYS WHITE SUPREMACY, “NOT ISIS OR AL QAEDA”, IS THE BIGGEST THREAT TO THE HOMELAND, FBI ANNOUNCES ARREST OF MAN PLOTTING ISIS TRUCK ATTACK IN SEATTLE

Shortly after President Biden declared today that “terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today, not ISIS, not Al Qaeda”, it was announced that a man has been arrested for plotting a truck attack in the name of ISIS on a gay pride parade in Seattle.
Elvin Hunter Bgorn Williams, 20, of Seattle, allegedly plotted to drive a semi-truck “straight through the parade, mowing down marchers and spectators, then jumping out of the semi and opening fire on the crowd,” court documents show.
A member of a Seattle-area mosque contacted the FBI with concerns about Williams last November, the same month he allegedly swore an oath of allegiance to ISIS. This past Friday, Williams went to Sea-Tac Airport for the first leg of a flight to Egypt to join ISIS. He was arrested at the departure gate.
“Williams was determined to support ISIS either by traveling overseas to join and fight with the terrorist organization, or by conducting an attack here in the United States,” said Assistant Attorney General John C. Demers for the Justice Department’s National Security Division. “The threat of terrorism at home and abroad remains,” Demers said.
“This defendant proved persistent in his efforts to join ISIS – speaking with enthusiasm about acts of horrific bloodshed in the Middle East and here at home,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman for the Western District of Washington.
“This individual self-radicalized, pledged loyalty to ISIS, and became consumed with activities to join the cause overseas,” said Special Agent in Charge Donald M. Voiret of the FBI Seattle Field Office. Voiret said that the effort to stop Williams “no doubt saved lives.”
If convicted, Williams faces 20 years in prison.

How is the government to supply us with military protection / border control, etc. if they have not the ability to raise revenue?
Originally, tariffs were utilized to fund the Federal Government. That was deemed the most equitable / enforceable method at the time the constitution was ratified. But no tariffs between states. Only foreign trade..

They'll sometimes mention concepts to the effect that "if the people really want it, then they'll be willing to pay for it," suggesting the complete privatization of literally everything.
I agree, that sounds like a utopian concept. And if it could actually work, then yes, I'd vote for it.
But then I remember the movie RoboCop.
