and here we are still wearing napkins on our face that doesn't stop the virus.

and using hand sanitizer that doesn't kill the virus.

and installing plastic sneeze guards the doesn't block airflow.

at least we figured out that coronaviruses can't get you while sitting at a restaurant table -- they only hang out in the lobby where your ineffective mask will protect you.

So I will pose it directly to you here: YES or NO, is the Covid vaccination leaky?
Does it kill Covid or merely dampen its symptoms and allow surviving virus to mutate in the host and be subsequently transmitted ?

fyi: anytime you read the word "baseless" in a news story, it means: we know it's true, but if we don't do the research we can claim ignorance.

I’m not sure if you could possibly miss my point any further than it appears you have. Nevertheless, your response was entertaining and creative.

By “traditional” I don’t mean “historic” but rather NOT mRNA- based.

I do understand that.

My point was that non-mRNA-based vaccines are old tech. Not saying that they're ineffective or bad, but merely that newer and more efficient ways of producing vaccines now exist, and will likely become the new standard in development.

Just a few decades ago, it was common to write software entirely in assembly language. As technology developed, compilers became more efficient. Many old-school programmers insisted that the use of compilers (and linking, and objects, etc) wasn't "real" programming.

Despite this programming in assembly is almost completely obsolete today, because the effectiveness of coding in high-level languages (including such wild and crazy ideas as platform-independent coding) is the norm.

IF you redefine the word "vaccine" sure.

My three kids start going back to school next week. They are all required to wear masks inside, even though their chances of dying of Covid are statistically zero. They have a better chance of dying on the way to school than they do of dying of Covid. Oh, if you're seen with your mask below your nose three times, you're out of school and "distance learning."

My Sophomore son has never been to a football game, a basketball game, has never gone to a high school dance. He's shy and anxious, and coming in as a Freshman last year from a tiny school means he has no friends. It's actually heartbreaking.

Meanwhile Obama yucks it up maskless with 650 of his closest friends, and Rashida Tlaib reprimands Senator Rand Paul about his mask stance and later that day is photographed at a party, maskless. Those jack-asses KNOW what's a danger and what's not, and yet it's more important to breed a country of serfs.

Repeating a falsehood several times, using highly precise and specific language, does not cause it to become true, even if one includes a footnote.

mRNA vaccines precisely meet the criteria expressed above, according to the citation linked to in note [5] of the article. They do stimulate a person's immune system to produce immunity to a specific virus.

100% serious question: Was there ever any doubt about this? Have any members of congress or the Executive branch stated otherwise?

Honestly, you seem happier arguing the finer points of the definition of a vaccine than addressing the larger issues that are before us in a serious, meaningful way. Or, we can just all play in the weeds all day long, like serfs.

Sorry if I gave that impression, but what else is there to discuss?

1: There is strong evidence that mRNA vaccines are effective at preventing serious illness from whatever virus they are designed to combat.

2: There is strong evidence that elected officials are exploiting the present situation to increase the power of government.

3: Point #2 above has successfully steered public attention in the direction intended by said officials.

4: Judging by appearances, people who strongly self-identify as either liberal or conservative are acting in an even more exaggerated than usual fashion in the manners with which these affiliations are stereotypically associated.

Is anyone credibly denying any of these things? Unless you're Braineack, there's no point in debating / arguing things which nobody is arguing against.
