It's kinda amazing watching the lengths the leftist government will got to, just to import dirty goat farmers into the country who will vote for democrats.

They impeached Trump over a perfect phone call [too close to target].
They only care when it makes a republican look bad -- that's something everyone should know by now.

In the spring of 1975...“I feel put upon in being presented an all-or-nothing number,” Biden said at a rare White House meeting between the president and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 14. “I will vote for any amount for getting the Americans out. I don’t want it mixed with getting the Vietnamese out.”
Ford countered: “We opened our door to the Hungarians. I am not saying the situation is identical, but our tradition is to welcome the oppressed. I don’t think these people should be treated any differently from any other people—the Hungarians, Cubans, Jews from the Soviet Union.”
Biden and other Democrats were unmoved.
In a Senate speech on April 23, Biden argued that the president lacked the authority to rescue any Vietnamese. “I do not believe the United States has an obligation, moral or otherwise, to evacuate foreign nationals” other than diplomats of third countries, Biden said. “The United States has no obligation to evacuate one, or 100,001, South Vietnamese.”
The U.S. should leave the task of protecting them to “the organizations that are available” and “diplomatic channels,” he added.
A week later, North Vietnamese tanks entered the grounds of the presidential palace in Saigon just hours after the last helicopter carried the last Americans out of Vietnam.

So, not only was Joe Biden involved in this debacle in Afghanistan, he was involved in the Saigon debacle as well. He didn’t have any moral compass then and he doesn’t have any moral compass on it now. All those folks who helped us are just to be tossed aside. All he had taken away from it by 2012 was that “he was right” when he was so manifestly wrong.

Hannity just said that Trump was on a phone call (when he was in office) with the leader of the Taliban. He said, in no uncertain terms that he'd do to the Taliban what he did to ISIS. He then proceeded to tell the Taliban leader where that leader was located. Talk about pucker factor 12!!! During the conditions-based Trump draw-down not one U.S. life was lost.

A couple we've known for a long time called in the early evening the other day and asked if they could spend the night at our house. Their a/c died. It was in the 90s here. Although we've done many things together, that evening was not pre-planned. They came over with their pillows, pajamas, and such. My wife unit and son were out when they arrived. I was watching NewsMax and recording Tucker Carlson so I could scroll through the commercials. Bill asked if I "watched this stuff all night". I stated we don't get the news in the office any longer, and that I like Greg Kelly and Tucker. He said when he was done with work for the day, he didn't want to bother with the news, he just wanted to relax. He had little knowledge of the Afghanistan debacle, and didn't seem to care. We chatted for a while and I asked if he'd gotten the vaccine. He said the government told him he had to get the shot, so he got the shot. No questions asked.
I found it funny that he's not really interested in what's going on in the whirl, or why. I wonder how many Americans are like that.

however. I do get all my news during the day from what my wife likes to call "the dark web" [typical read about things 2-3 days before most people find out about things] and I'm smart enough to know if my government asks me to do something; it's never in my best interest and I should resist we much.
