Yes someone's personal decision to weigh the risks/benefits of the vaccine is why so many vaccinated are getting infected.
Here's what I don't understand: who is the antagonist here? Your business friend? It was his own personal choice to not get vaccinated. He weighed the risks of both getting covid and the vaccine itself. Who exactly are you pointing blame for the all the deaths? Still think China is innocent in all this, I guess.
If the vaccines does not prevent the spread of covid, does not prevent you from getting covid, and does not protect others around you from getting covid, who are you to get mad at people making this personal decision? It's theirs to make. It seems like you're trying to point blame on "antivaxxers." But we all know the vaccine is designed only to protect the person who gets it -- if they happen to survive the side effects. Despite being told it would end the pandemic and everyone could go back to normal, we quickly all found out that was not the case. The vaccine is a very selfish treatment, but makes you feel like a hero if you take it and champion it. It's probable had he got the vaccine he'd be okay today, but it's also possible he would not. It's also possible he could have caught covid and transmitted to others, just as any other vaccinated person does, and had zero symptoms and recovered fully, just like millions of others around the world already have done...
My close coworker, who I worked next to every single day of the pandemic for over a year -- because we were required to work in the office and didnt get the luxury of playing video games online all day and collecting a paycheck -- succumbed to heart complications (2) days after getting his vaccine. So I guess everything evened out.

Across 29 states, 110 cases have been reported as of Saturday.
Officials disclosed the vaccination status of 66 of the infected individuals. Of those, the vast majority, or 52, were fully vaccinated. Some had even gotten booster shots.
...
Later in the article it goes on and says that all 52 people that were vaccinated had forged covid cards. SIKE.
The vaccine [ or masks, and the other silly things we've been doing for two years ] is clearly not the solution to this pandemic; comparing excessive deaths from 2021 to 2020 makes it quite clear.

Who's surprised?
Certainly not Cuomo.
CNN producer John Griffin was arrested by the FBI on Friday after a federal grand jury charged him with enticing minors to engage in "unlawful sexual activity" at his Vermont property.
Griffin, 44 of Stamford, Connecticut, was charged with three counts of "using a facility of interstate commerce" to lure minors and people claiming to be their parents to train them to be sexually subservient, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Vermont said in a statement.

A man who emigrated from South Africa, first to Canada then the USA, who revolutionized online financial transactions, commercial space travel, changing power distribution, innovating new methods of tunnel digging, and made electric cars cool instead of being glorified golf carts, while becoming the wealthiest man on the planet, has been named Time Magazine’s person of the year.
You’d think the left would love the rags to riches story of a young African American immigrant having massive success like that.
But nope, the leftists are big mad.
Shout out especially to keith olberman for the complete lack of self awareness with his tweet.
Keith olberman’s accomplishments: was a decent sportscenter anchor in the 90’s, winning the prestigious “Cable ACE” award in 1995*. Ego: thinks he has actually accomplished something.
-CH
*he had some stiff competition in 95, against his coworkers; Chris Berman and Dan Patrick, The guy who did those voiceovers for HBO sports and some local announcer on New York’s MSG network.
At this point, I’m just beating olberman “like a rented goalie.” A phrase which makes no sense but he just made it up and stole it from an actual great sportscaster, and changed the last word into nonsense. A good craftsman doesn’t blame his tools, but mister dictionary has failed him yet again.

To be fair, Musk is now calling to end government subsidies, even though government subsidies helped make him the richest man in the world. The government giving rich people $8k to buy one of his cars, as if the people who can afford a $60k car need help from the government. What's the phrase, pulling the ladder up?
Back to your COVID crusade. If I say, "Yes, COVID is a hoax the government, CDC, big pharma, and the media are all in cahoots on this."
Now what? What do we do to combat this?

Yes, I know there is nothing we can do about it. It was a rhetorical question. If you know you can't do anything about it, why are you so rabid about sharing reddit memes to 5 other people on a car forum?
