Four outcomes met the threshold for a statistical signal following BNT162b2 vaccination including pulmonary embolism (PE; RR = 1.54), acute myocardial infarction (AMI; RR = 1.42), disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC; RR = 1.91), and immune thrombocytopenia (ITP; RR = 1.44). After further evaluation, only the RR for PE still met the statistical threshold for a signal; however, the RRs for AMI, DIC, and ITP no longer did. No statistical signals were identified following vaccination with either the mRNA-1273 or Ad26 COV2.S vaccines.

30 million is a lot of people to grab data from, and the initial numbers they list look pretty significant. But even so, it's better to take the shot? I don't get it.

This is saying the FDA found some data from 65+ year old people who had taken the newest vaccine that looked statistically significant, but then after further review it didn't?! I'm guessing "RR" means "relative risk", and that 1.0 is the mean so that anything above 1.0 would be a number more than average, or more than a population that didn't take the vaccine.

We conducted weekly sequential testing and generated rate ratios (RR) of observed outcome rates compared to historical (or expected) rates prior to COVID-19 vaccination.
FDA strongly believes the potential benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the potential risks of COVID-19 infection. Per FDA communication of these findings, FDA is currently not taking any regulatory actions based on these signal detection activities because these signals are still under investigation and require more robust study.

If Biden did somehow obtain a Purple Heart medal for his uncle, he would have done it as a senator, when both his father and uncle were alive.
But the details about Biden’s uncle who had “won” a Purple Heart, but never got the medal remains a mystery.
The New York Post investigated and found no record of Frank Biden getting awarded the Purple Heart and no mention of the medal was made in his obituary.
The White House did not respond to requests for comment.

it's more like despite ignoring VAERS data, this study found a "statistically significant" link they earlier dismissed.
I dunno why getting a vaccine that doesn't protect you, nor stop the spread, is better than getting: Acute Myocardial Infarction, Pulmonary Embolism, Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation, or Immune Thrombocytopenia.
