A 6-year-old boy is in police custody after he shot a teacher at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia, Friday afternoon, Police Chief Steve Drew said in a news conference.“The individual is a 6-year-old student. He is right now in police custody,” Drew said. “We have been in contact with our commonwealth attorney and some other entities to help us best get services to this young man.”

arlignton and alexandria yes, the rest not really. still full of libs though. the vast majority of my neighborhood has R signs. it's also full of Vietnamese and Indians.

Silly thing is, all the wokes around here against them; because equality. TJ is a very very very very prestigious HS. But they started turning away Asian applicants and letting very very very very shitty students into it because being smarter than other people is not woke, so not only has the schools ranking dropped to public school levels, they are now also activity discriminating against Asians by screwing them out of a National Merit Scholarship.
More Fairfax Co. high schools apologize for not sending merit commendations
Parents at two Fairfax County, Virginia, high schools received an upsetting surprise in their inboxes over the weekend.
Langley High School Principal Kim Greer sent out an email Friday night to congratulate students who were awarded commendations in the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, as first reported by the Fairfax County Times.
On Saturday night, Westfield High School Principal Tony DiBari sent out an almost identical email, telling parents “it has come to light that Westfield High School students designated as Commended Students this past fall were also not notified by the school.”
In the email, Greer immediately followed up her congratulations by saying, “I must apologize that certificates were not distributed to these Langley High School students in the usual way this past fall.”
Commended students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, but some do become candidates for special scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses, according to the National Merit Scholarship website.
Parents of students expressed their dissatisfaction with the schools, claiming the withholding of the notifications were racially-motivated with a bias against Asian American students.
In the following years, the percentage of Asian students at Thomas Jefferson has decreased while the number of Black and Hispanic students has risen.
In a letter on Jan. 3, Gov. Glenn Youngkin urged Miyares to further the investigation, claiming the schools may have violated the Virginia Human Rights Act.
On the night Youngkin released his letter, parents and students of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology spoke out, with staff saying that the system is “inconsistent” and is in “need of improvement.”

I dunno, I dont really talk to my neighbors. But one did bring me back this cool elephant tchotchke from India the last time he visited. I just see them all on their after dinner walks -- they make up a good % of the population in this area. I have no problems with them whatsoever except they constantly have visitors who park in front of my house, but not theirs, and that is just simply annoying.
makes sense. i put up a huge fence between my direct neighbors and planted a tree in front of their side window and now i never hear/see them since, and it's been wonderful.
this is her pretending to mow the lawn passive aggressively, when we planted it, as she used to do literally every single time I was ever outside.

they were not happy losing land they were trying to steal from us. they even tried to get the HOA to deny our fence -- saying it would cause flooding in their yard. lol.
even straight up added more landscaping in the front to block them out further from us. They liked to sit on their front porch right there and listen in/talk to us when I was ever in my garage/driveway.
