Which makes me wonder why these charges weren't brought against him in a federal court instead of the impeachment. Seemed like it would have been a whole lot easier. Unless of course, they don't really want to have him NOT be able to run for office. Like the Asian man alluded to, they just want to keep driving the division between us instead of allowing us to focus on them.

This concept, and again thanks to poormxdad for pointing out to me what should have been blindingly obvious, has some interesting ramifications.

Let's say, for instance, that Couy Griffin decided to run for President. That's President of the United States of America, not president of the humane society, obviously.

Right off the bat, he would not be able to appear on the primary ballot in New Mexico. What's more interesting (and, to my knowledge, completely untested) would be what would happen if he won the Republican primary nationally and became their candidate in the November general election.

I'm merely speculating here (as there is no precedent for this sort of thing happening), but my guess would be that New Mexico would not allow him to appear on the November ballot. In that case, there would be no Republican candidate on the N.M. ballot, and unless the Libertarian party were able to take the state, NM's 5 electoral votes would go to the Democrat candidate. If Mr. Griffin were so inclined, he could then rant and rave about how the liberal court rigged the election (ignoring the fact that US District Court Judge Trevor N. McFadden, who oversaw his trial and conviction, was appointed to the bench by none other than Donald J. Trump), and encourage his supporters to storm the US Capitol Building on Jan 6, 2025 to "Stop the Steal," so to speak.

Obviously, you can substitute any other name you like in place of Couy Griffin. We'll make up a name at random, and say that we're talking about a former reality-TV host named Ronald Rump.

Official campaign photo of US presidential-hopeful Ronald K. Rump:

Let's say that, having been convicted of trespassing and then enjoying a complementary two-week vacation at Club Fed back in 2022, Mr. Rump finds his eligibility to hold office being challenged in every single state in which he appears on the Republican primary ballot in 2024, on grounds identical to those of good ole' Couy Griffen back in the sleepy hamlet of Otero County, New Mexico.

That... would be interesting.

That's actually a photo of the Space Chupacabra, from the off-Broadway play The Wong Kids in the Secret of the Space Chupacabra, Go!, which I only know about because their original sound designer is now an audio engineer at News Nation.

If Trump is convicted of anything and losses the election, the dems have a win.

If Trump is not convicted of anything and wins the election the Republicans have a win.

If Trump is not convicted of anything and Trump loses the election, the whole country loses.

Donald Trump teaches his student, Socrates, about morality and Western philosophy. (colorized)

The media often fails to mention that Donald Trump was one of the founding members of the Wu-Tang Clan. Although Trump took time away from the group to be President of the United States, he still makes guest appearances at their live shows.

Looks like conclusion supplied by the meme, which may or may not be true. Still, I'm not seeing masks listed below as something to stockpile.

DOUBLE JEOPARDY?

"The Supreme Court has affirmed “the Double Jeopardy Clause prohibits merely punishing twice, or attempting a second time to punish criminally, for the same offense.” Helvering v. Mitchell, 303 U.S. 391, 399 (1938). Because the President has already been prosecuted—twice—for the asserted crimes underlying both of Jack Smith’s indictments, the legal remedy has already been applied: there is simply no other form of legal redress that is tolerable under the Constitution."

I love science:

https://blogs.cdc.gov/niosh-science-...10/ppe-burden/

CDC acknowledges significant harms of N95s due to CO2 buildup. To avoid these, CDC recommends not wearing N95 for more than 1 hour. In other words, all-day use advocated by today’s public health elite causes harm, without demonstrated benefit.

Please note that this blog is specifically about respirators used by healthcare workers during long shifts and not facemasks worn as barrier control to stop the spread of COVID.
Facemasks stopped the spread of covid?
