Karmelo Anthony's family has raised over $625,000 in their GiveSendGo fundraiser, which one can only assume has all been spent on cars, shopping sprees, their new house, etc., as Karmelo himself is being represented at trial by a Public Defender.

And that Public Defender got him an all-white jury. In a small, rural county in Texas which was only 51% white in the 2020 census.

There is a part of me which actually wonders if that alone isn't a strategy, setting Karmelo up for a post-conviction appeal based on ineffective counsel.

A lovers' quarrel in Massachusetts does not affect my life.
