Florida Taco Bell worker accused of shooting at customers who put soda in water cup
According to an arrest report, the victims had entered and asked employee D'Mari Patterson for a cup of water.
Patterson provided the cup but then confronted them about filling it with soda, the report said.
The argument escalated and another Taco Bell employee separated Patterson from the victims.
A patron started recording cellphone video which captured Patterson yelling before the sound of a firearm being racked is heard, followed by a single gunshot, the report said.
One victim ran outside and Patterson followed and fired an additional round in their direction, which missed the victim but struck a restaurant window, the report said.

Here in Chicago, one of our big stories at the moment is that Walgreens is shutting down yet another store down on the south side (the most ghetto part), and alderman William Hall is demanding that Walgreens be charged with "corporate abandonment" (which is not something that seems to be a crime in Illinois), that they should be prevented from closing the store by force, etc.
The thing is, you can only rob a store and assault its employees so many times before the owners of that store decide to pack it in. The city has an implied obligation to protect the store and its employees by enforcing the law, and the community has an implied obligation to not do crime against businesses you want to stick around.
It's a shame, as we have some very cool-looking Walgreens stores here.
They don't all look like that, but some of them do.
