You've gotta admit, real life is so much more interesting than a tv show. Even "The Apprentice".

With that kind of blatant transphobia on display, was it ever reasonable to trust anything which Mark Rober has to say?

I'm mostly keeping an eye on the major stock indices as the President deliberately drives down the markets in order to create short-selling / stock-buyback opportunities for his patrons.

I'm not quite brave enough to short the S&P, but I have moved a fairly large chunk of cash into my brokerage account in anticipation of a forthcoming buy signal.

I'll be curious to see whether we get "AH HA, I KNEW IT!" first, or jump straight into "While there is no meaningful information in these newly-released 70 year old documents, it is the very absence of facts which proves me correct."

Honestly, I have no dog in that fight. Mostly idle curiosity, like speculating about how many times Marty McFly died after jumping from the roof of The Pleasure Palace before Doc got the timing and position right to finally catch him on like the 6th attempt, and whether each one of those Martys was a unique individual whose death was permanent.

I've mentioned the CIA plenty times in the past, and still seems to be the case now.

DOGE strikes again:

The Biden appointee who headed a $42.5 billion program to provide broadband internet access in rural America, which hooked up exactly ZERO homes in three years, has quit in a huff.

Top broadband official exits Commerce Department with sharp Musk warning

“Stranding all or part of rural America with worse internet so that we can make the world’s richest man even richer is yet another in a long line of betrayals by Washington,” Evan Feinman warned.

We on the Right have really created this incredible strawman of the "tolerant left," and keep assailing it in our rebuke of the present-day Left's behavior.

I realize that you avoid having Leftist friends, but if you did, you would find that not all of them are actually dumb. Those in positions of influence have learned from history, and recognized that the hippy-era ethos of peace, nonviolence, and "can't we all just get along" was ineffectual at promoting actual societal change.

They have in fact been quite vocal about their new dynamic, shouting that they will not be meek, they will not be quiet, and that there will be no peace until there is equity and justice as they perceive it.

But one would not know that if one insulated themself from the Left's echo chambers.

(It took some time to get right, but I am really happy with how this image came out.)

This guy needs to be investigated, along with family and friends to see exactly where the money went. It's time we started prosecuting those that stole from the taxpayer.

And quite frankly, I will not be satisfied until at least some of them are lined up against a wall and shot.

I live outside DC, even my most republican friends are leftists.

Hell, I know a couple who met working on the Romney campaign, one night the husband was trying to convince me that the rich have so much money that only they should pay taxes and basically fund/provided everything. I didn't know he was into slavery.

Another is so hell bent on getting an abortion each day, she voted for Hilary and Biden. She idolizes Reagan, has framed art of him on her wall, went to his library in CA, but yet she is estranged to her Dad anymore since he voted for, and supports Trump, where she can't handle that her dad is a ****.

Our group chat is filled with anxious ramblings every day of Trump did this, Trump did that, I cant believe DOGE is doing this.

My leftist friends say some of the cringiest **** I've ever heard. Repeat all the same talking points as my bat-****-crazy mom. Leave bars because they think a DOGE employee is there. And yes, conflate equity and equality.

me, I'm a gray rock. I don't feel like being judged/chastised/estranged over my opinions that don't matter to anyone else.

I live in the deep blue state of NM and can say with confidence that you are incorrect in this presumption, a great majority of leftists are quite literally ******* retarded. NM's educational ranking may play a role in this but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

I spent a few days in Albuquerque a couple of years before covid and was surprised how many people there were lazy, not punctual, and seemed intellectually deficient. I went there with no preconceived notions as I had never heard anyone speak disparagingly or with praise for people in New Mexico. It seemed like everyone I dealt with was on island time and didn't care when or if things got done.

For the people on this forum from that area, you seem highly adept and motivated, and it must frustrate you greatly to live there at times.

Albuquerque, from everything i gather, seems like one of the worst places on earth.

I was just on Turks and Cacios. Island Time is real there. Maybe the worst I've ever encountered. So bad I had to look up then average IQ, then it made sense.
