I forgot, politicians now expect interview questions to be easy peasy because they made so much effort to sit down for the interview... It's news because it's news.

they do if they are liberal, yes.

it wasn't that is was a hard question, it was that it was a dumb question. his answer to why was 100% acceptable; the follow up question suggests the "reporter" never read this: https://bookofbadarguments.com/

taking campaign contributions has nothing to do with trying to enforce the upcoming town hall you're giving is only open to residents of your own district.

the mistake he made was getting up and leaving and not pulling this first:

not news:

Here's Why Black Harvard Students Are Holding Their Own Graduation Ceremony | National | BET

Aside from studying and taking grueling tests, if you’re a minority, the outer pressures of society make the already challenging coursework even more difficult. Knowing this, Black members of the class of 2017 decided to form an individual ceremony. It’s the first of its kind at the school in recent memory and took nearly a year to plan.

The separate graduation is an effort to highlight the aforementioned struggles and resilience it takes to get through those.

in case you were wondering why women make less than men:

I want all the perks of maternity leave ? without having any kids | New York Post

Meghann Foye, 38, was jealous of co-workers clocking out for maternity leave, and decided she needed a break of her own. Here, the author of the novel “Meternity” (Mira, out now), tells The Post’s Anna Davies why she believes every woman deserves mandated “me time.”

I was 31 years old in 2009, and I loved my career. As an editor at a popular magazine, I got to work on big stories, attend cool events, and meet famous celebs all the time.

And yet, after 10 years of working in a job where I was always on deadline, I couldn’t help but feel envious when parents on staff left the office at 6 p.m. to tend to their children, while it was assumed co-workers without kids would stay behind to pick up the slack.

“You know, I need a maternity leave!” I told one of my pregnant friends. She laughed, and we spent the afternoon plotting my escape from my 10-hour days, fake baby bump and all.

The comments on that article are pretty good. Most lambaste her for being such a clueless, sniveling, self-centered brat.

"There’s something about saying “I need to go pick up my child” as a reason to leave the office on time that has far more gravitas than, say, “My best friend just got ghosted by her OkCupid date and needs a margarita” — but both sides are valid."

What?

I trust the people who voted in Wisconsin and Texas and Alabama and California to have voted on the basis of who they thought was best going to represent their interests. And so I’m not going to question the legitimacy of their vote because Vladimir Putin tried to interfere in the elections. That’s just a step that I don’t think we should take. Let’s trust our fellow citizens to have been smart enough to have voted for the people they thought they ought to be voting for.

BREAKING REAL NEWS!!!!!

a lawyer said no comment.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes has made a Rachel Maddow-like fool of himself with a “scoop” on Trump’s taxes that turned out to be a “no comment” response from the President’s tax lawyer and White House officials.

“We’ve got a strange little scoop on the President’s taxes on tonight’s show,” Hayes tweeted yesterday afternoon. “It’s a very weird one. Tonight at 8pm.”

Immediately, the tweet was met with comments like “don’t go Rachel on us now” in reference to the last MSNBC host who tweeted out a teaser for a major Trump tax reveal and promptly found herself proving little more than that the President paid a boatload of taxes more than a decade ago.

Sadly for Hayes, his big reveal was headed in that direction.

When 8pm rolled around, the host declared that his big reveal was… (drumroll please) a “no comment” response from the White House or Trump’s tax lawyers concerning whether or not the President filed tax returns this year.

How does this even matter? Jesus the media is getting more and more desperate for stuff.

I told my CPA to file an extension for me this year, not because I can't go ahead and pay what I owe, but because I'd rather just wait to pay in to the State coffers.

ya think?

In its latest example of hard-hitting journalism, CNN has blown the door wide open on President Donald Trump’s ice cream habits, informing the public that while everyone gets one scoop, he gets – GASP – two.

A non-sensationalized video. Queen Rania is probably one of the most intelligent women in politics right now. Her and her husband, King Abdullah, are such a force of good in the middle east. I really wish they had more resources at their disposal. It's a great example of how Monarchy's can be truly great with good leadership. Too bad they can go to **** instantly in a regime change.
