I don't trust most sources in the green triangle to be unbiased in story selection or presentation. Everyone seems unable to stick to telling what happened and insists on telling us how to interpret it.
The primary problem is likely that individuals become journalists to "make a difference" rather than to "record what occurred."

Guess the information bias is more widespread that I thought.
Several of the outlets listed as hard left or right are places where I go for daily news, notably OAN and the Huffington Post.
While on vacation in Colorado last month I was sitting in a McDonalds eating breakfast and caught pieces of conversations from other groups of customers.
It was funny to hear some of the stuff floating thru the air.
There was an area where the same bunch of old guys hang out and drank coffee every morning and they said the same stupid catch phrases that I hear at work.
Made me think they all listen to the same news sources every day just so they could come down to the diner and spout it off to their buddies.
On another note I was watching a game show on the internet called "America Says" where you try to guess the most popular answers to a question.
The question was something about "What one word comes to mind when you think about America?"
Strangely enough the one word was..... Freedom.
Given what I hear in the news every day I would have guessed it would have been oppression or police brutality or mass shootings or crooks.

Before Joe comes in here and yells at you, i will.
Why in the **** is that in the political thread?
Usually i can somehow pick out something loosely related to political opinion. But i just can't with this one.

Just took a look at the headlines this morning and saw where George Bush Jr. sat next to Ellen DeGeneres at a football game and put Twitter into a tizzy.
I found it ironic that the article focused on how many could not believe that a liberal gay woman would be willing to be that close and interact with someone like him (whatever that means).
My personal take is that I find it refreshing that we are at a time here in the USA where a person can be openly gay without being subject to legal criminal punishment such as jail and chemical castration and even death.
This is one of the few times and places in history where it is safe to be openly gay.
I do not morally feel that gay is OK and wish it would have stayed in the closet but also am happy that our legal system has quit treating gays as criminals.
