Because neither the Primary nor the General elections are run by the DNC; they are run by the states. And it would be that act (the states either putting Harris on modified ballots for President, or counting votes for Biden on existing ballots as votes for Harris) which would be contested.

The RNC would file up to 51 lawsuits in Federal court (one each for all 50 states plus DC) challenging the action.

Would this matter? Impossible to say. But it creates risk.

Back into the discussion: What sucks for Pelosi is she was sitting on this evidence herself until after the election so she could use the 25th the get Biden out, then kill Kamala to become President herself.

Minneapolis residents sue City Council for lack of law enforcement after voting to defund police department

Emma Colton
Oct 20, 2020

Residents of Minneapolis are suing the City Council for a lack of police presence after leaders voted to defund the police earlier this year.

"We are here, we stand together in unison, to say enough is enough," community activist Cathy Spann said during a press conference. "I am here today to say it is about all of us coming together to make a difference to stop the gun violence that is in our city — downtown, south, north. We are stopping it. We are no longer asking for a plan. We are the plan."

The lawsuit comes after the council voted unanimously in June to dismantle the police department in favor of a "Department of Community Safety." Currently, Mayor Jacob Frey's 2021 budget plan includes a cut of $14 million to the city's police department.

Former council member Don Samuels said he and his family can no longer leave their home at night because of the increase in violent crimes.

“We have made the emotional appeal,” Samuels said. “We have demonstrated the statistical uptick, and now, this is the legal action we are exercising because it seems as if the City Council cannot hear us and doesn’t feel what we feel.”

The City Council and its attorneys responded to the lawsuit saying it should be dismissed as the city has a sufficient number of law enforcement officers.

A judge heard arguments on Monday and has 90 days to issue a ruling.

“This is like all they are focused on is having a re-imagined police department while we’re focused on staying alive,” said Sondra Samuels, one of the petitioners.

Who, the residents of Minneapolis?

Why on earth would they do that? They need a liberal leftist government to protect them from the evil, scary people.

Democrats have become the party of anti-vaxxers

...Democrats began spreading baseless conspiracy theories about the coronavirus vaccine this summer in what appeared to be an attempt to undermine President Trump’s reelection efforts. The argument went something like this: Trump wants to be reelected, so he is pushing to expedite the approval process for a vaccine; therefore, we should be skeptical of any vaccine released before the election.

“[If doctors] tell us that we should take it, I’ll be the first in line to take it. Absolutely,” vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris said during her debate with Vice President Mike Pence. “But if Donald Trump tells us that we should take it, I’m not taking it.”

Pence rightly called out Harris for endangering the health of millions of people by needlessly sowing doubt about the vaccine’s safety in advance. But Harris’s argument, as irresponsible as it was, at least had a political explanation. Not so anymore. We are two weeks away from the election with no chance at all of a vaccine being released beforehand. So why are Democrats still discouraging people from trusting a vaccine?

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on Monday that he would “need someone other than this FDA and CDC saying it’s safe” to encourage New Yorkers to take the vaccine. Why? Because the vaccine would be “new” and “done quickly.”

Maybe it’s some sort of obtuse eugenics policy - get their followers to shun vaccines and watch the gene pool improve.

Well, he did personally order the deaths of 6,692 nursing home residents -- so I wouldn't hold it against him.

I really want the President to publicly state that it's hugely important for Americans to drink water. Because this country has the best water, there's really no other water in the world like it. We've made water great again. And the President drinks water all the time. All the time.

Well, obviously. You keep posting these things as though Cancel Culture were not a factor in the decision-making process of public figures.

How do you know that Kamala won't just identify as Joe Biden. Then nothing to contest. Are you one to say if a strong black woman can't become an old fragile white guy?
