If not, it's really sad that he didn't crash as he pulled away.

It's a still from a British TV series called Spitting Image. It's a political satire programme from the 80s, which has recently been revived for a new season.

According to Wikipedia (which is never, ever wrong), the Land of Confusion video actually did use puppets borrowed from Spitting Image.
Also, interestingly, I completely forgot that song was originally by Genesis. Whenever I think of it, I think of the metal cover by Disturbed.

Spitting Image released a few 'songs' from the series, the 'Chicken Song' reached Number 1 in the UK charts for 3 weeks (vid from BBC's Top Of The Pops 22nd May 1986)
and their poke at the apartheid in South Africa...
Spitting Image was amusing (to me) BUT I was in my early teen years and not realy pollitically motivated, watching old episodes can see the political bias that was there - WILL still be there and very left-leaning........

with the current political climate in UK & Brexit I'm gonna guess Spitting Image will have an agenda

It also depicts Donald Trump as wearing a toupee which is apparently sentient and somewhat resembles Fizzgig from Dark Crystal when not upon his head.
So, yeah, it's possible that the show might have a certain political leaning.

A few weeks ago, someone (Braineack, I assume) posted a meme about how national parks are racist, because people of color are under-represented at them.
My recent trek across the Dakotas reminded me of something:
National parks are a fascinating thing, mostly because they don't coddle you. With relatively few exceptions, the experience (if you're doing it right) tends to consist mostly of you showing up, getting told "Welcome to the park, here's a map. There are no guides, and no cell phone service. Feel free to explore wherever you want, but try not to get bitten by a rattlesnake or gored by a bison. If you don't make it back to camp before dark, you'll probably die. Enjoy!"
In other words, they're pretty much the only state-sanctioned recreational activity left in this nation which does not merely emphasize self-reliance and self-accountability, but is entirely predicated upon them.
