After the end of the civil war, the government tried sending the slaves to Liberia, but most fled, scattering throughout the United States.

Now, to top it all off, the reason the civil war started was because the north was tired of the south/west bringing more slaves in. It was far cheaper to do this then to breed slaves. You have to read between the lines, but it can be seen here-

Hopefully the sites noted are credible enough for most. I don't care if one calls me racist, biased, or neutral. I do prefer to keep the facts straight, and that is something today's society skews greatly. Abraham Lincoln was indeed correct in some ways, but not in others. We do not typically prefer to be with the "other" race, but most have no issues with it. Look in a high school cafeteria as example. You will see a crowd of white males at one table, a crowd white females at another, a crowd of black males at another, and a group of black females at another. A few of the opposite race will be mixed back and fourth, but in general, they choose to segregate.
