I saw one on the freeway and if I didn't know what the 2015 WRX looked like from behind, I would have thought I was looking at a Camry. I agree with the front end...sort of. Nose seems a bit too long.

Not sure what it was doing out on the streets though.

The front of the new WRX is so ugly that I like it.

The back is just plain ugly.

It means too many newer cars are stealing looks from one another, and it's boring.

I don't really see where you are getting that the Mustang is copying other cars. It doesn't have the Aston grille like the fusion. It has muscular, continuous lines. The only intersecting lines I see are on the front end.

New WRX... Just pisses me off that they dumped the hatch. It's finally going to get decent fuel economy and now it's not made in a worthwhile body style. Sedan FTL.

I guess it's just my general dislike of the look of newer cars. I hated most 80's cars because of their boxy design, the 90's had a general look that I liked, the 00's not so much like, and it's looking like the 10's I like even less. I guess it's a decades look.

That silver image, I see a BRZ roofline, fusion/taurus front clip, and a charger rear 1/4 panel. Too many lines and contours.

And you're getting upset that I called your opinion ignorant?
It wasn't a personal attack, but when someone says "every car (or just about) from this or that era is terrible....." I mean how could anyone take you seriously at all?

Again, you must have injured your brain in some way. I used words like general and most, and I didn't say they were terrible, I said that I generally disliked newer cars and cars from the 80's and 00's, but liked the 90's. I guess not agreeing with the masses somehow makes me ignorant in your weird mind. And you can't even quote me accurately from one post prior.

lol keep insulting me, its definitely working I'm crying over here.

I don't care about the new mustang enough to bicker with someone like you about it for pages so I'll stop. Its just funny because I consider myself super conservative and an "old man" despite being late 20's early 30's, and then see posts like yours that are so much worse that I feel like a liberal.

Thanks for the LOLs

Okay, you're stupid. Cry! CRY!

But why not? It's fun isn't it? Didn't know being conservative and liberal applied to liking or disliking cars.

Seriously though, I didn't mean any insult, I was just trying to push your buttons a bit. Hopefully you aren't really THAT thinly skinned.

Kiss and make up?

lol no harm dude

I just find myself really impressed that they're finally making progress by doing DI, IRS, and losing weight, making it lower and wider, and still pretty decent looking. Those are all things I've been griping about with the mustang and they're all finally getting addressed, at least to some degree. Also an ecoboost version will be pretty sweet for those of us that love b00st

I can see myself possibly owning one of these bad boys if it lives up to the claims and the hype

*edit: feel free to bash how badly subaru botched the new wrx though. I'll gladly agree. I'm so furious with the sides/rear of it and no hatch variant

It's not as bad as I was making it out to be honestly. I still don't think it's all that great, but it's... meh. I'd drive it if someone gave it to me, but I sure as hell wouldn't buy one.

The WRX has been in decline since the change over in '07-'08. I've never liked any of the newer styling. Some of them have been pretty downright ugly.

Also, who are the trying to fool with that **** excuse for a diffuser (both WRX and Moostang). This is embarrassing.

OEM rice is getting worse and worse.

When I bought my Mustang I bought the only V8 car on the lot to not have the factory "hood scoop":

You did notice how it says "WRX Concept" on the back of that car, right? That's not the production model.

I did not notice that, no.

I still say OEM rice is out of control. Especially with domestics.

If a subtle rear "diffuser" is the only rice thing on this car I think I can live with that. really stupid that they painted it body color, but that aint nothing some plastidip can't fix

Ha... True.

I don't mind this too much though. Not great but not terrible IMO. I'd drive it in a hatch.

This, on the other hand, I really like.

Bring back my beloved 90's styling!

And I hate OEM ricery because it's mostly non functional, and I find function attractive on cars, usually. So it's sort of an insult or a spit in the face when they put a non functional hood scoop and a big cheesy looking diffuser on the car if it does nothing. It used to be, if you had a scoop, it guided air somewhere...

What about all the non turbo subaru's from that era that still had a hood scoop that was completely pointless?

I do love the 22b though. With a passion

Did they? I know starting with the bug eye they didn't have a scoop for the non turbo models. Wasn't aware that those did.
