Have you ever looked up how to make a pressure cooker bomb? My husband, ever the oppositional kind, asked them if they themselves weren’t curious as to how a pressure cooker bomb works, if they ever looked it up. Two of them admitted they did.
dumbasses.

I'm going to do that tonight. Along with something like gunpowder or something.

Waste enough of their time, and it kills the system.

I wonder if they wouldn't have gotten the "visit" if they used Duckduckgo instead of Google.

It has been confirmed that a company computer was used for the searches and his employer tipped off the authorities. The NSA did not initiate this.

but that doesn't make sense. she said the husband was googling backpacks, and the wife was googling pressure cookers. they both work at same company and both used work computers for the searches?

Over the past two days, at home and at work I have Googled the following terms, both individually and as various combinations:

backpack
black powder
bomb
digital timer
pressure cooker
remote trigger
shrapnel

I have also used both Google and Bing to shop for above items. Several were added to shopping cart, but never purchased.

Slackers haven't shown up yet.

Start googling the times and locations of government officials as well. And maybe big events in your area. Also you will probably actually have to go through with the purchase of a few items as I'm sure that is a requirement of getting a visit from the FBI.

http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/08/lavabit-shuts-down/

Lavabit email service shut down rather than acquiesce to the feds. Snowden was one of their users.

And under the Patriot Act they're not allowed to say what the feds demanded.

*******.

You mean like the thousands of times it happened and showed up in audits?

"The most serious incidents included a violation of a court order and unauthorized use of data about more than 3,000 Americans and green-card holders."

"Separately, an NSA new collection method went undiscovered by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court for months. The court, which has authority over some of the agency's operations, ruled it unconstitutional."

"In 2008, a "large number" of calls placed from Washington were intercepted due to a programming error that confused the capitol's 202 area code for 20, the international dialing code for Egypt. The information came from a "quality assurance" review that wasn't distributed to the NSA overnight staff, according to the Post."

I love the idea of any type of control or audit on this when it's supported for POTUS down.

Feds Threaten To Arrest Lavabit Founder For Shutting Down His Service | Techdirt

The saga of Lavabit founder Ladar Levison is getting even more ridiculous, as he explains that the government has threatened him with criminal charges for his decision to shut down the business, rather than agree to some mysterious court order. The feds are apparently arguing that the act of shutting down the business, itself, was a violation of the order

yea...only a matter of time now.

I am sure Alexander will come out and put a new spin on this.
But thats ok, we have Iphones and we eat what we want so life is good.

Easiest way to control the masses? make the basic needs easy and spin everything else.

Judge: NSA “systematically violated” its own privacy requirements | Ars Technica

Contrary to the government’s repeated assurances, NSA had been routinely running queries of the metadata using querying terms that did not meet the required standard for querying. The Court concluded that this requirement had been “so frequently and systematically violated that it can fairly be said that this critical element of the overall…regime has never functioned effectively.”
