It reveals what I understand to be something close to the truth. That "We the Media", of which I am a member, doesn't have any specific agenda, we just understand that negative / controversial stories get more attention than fanboi copy.

I mean Trump would have to do something good or decent to get a favorable news report. The fact that he has not is on him, not the media. Don't blame the media for a President who is not up to the task of actually doing the job and doing it well.
And the point of that is? One is about offering, the other is about doing. One of those men would not have given out information that would have given away our sources, the other is not smart enough to know that could happen.
Be a shitty president and get shitty headlines. Be a competent president, and get less shitty headlines.
