war is the perfect distraction for a fake narrative!
“Here’s a President who’s under incredible scrutiny for his relations,” said Matthews, as reported by Newsbusters, “with the Russians in all those months that the Russians were helping him get elected President. And here he is tonight apparently – we’re hearing lots of talks about it with guests that we’ve had on – that there may be military action against Russia’s number one ally, which is Syria.”
“Is this to cover his tracks?”
“It would distract from the investigation and show ‘I’m not in bed with the Russians,'” quipped David Corn, D.C. bureau chief for Mother Jones.
“Would that clean him?” inquired Matthews. “Would that clear him of the charge that he was doing with the Russians?”
“I don’t think so,” responded Corn. “But it may distract us if we get into a mess in Syria.”

It's Just Common Sense.: The real target of the Syrian strikes
"But make no mistake, those missiles weren't meant for just Assad. They were a message to Kim Jong-un, the ayatollahs in Iran, ISIS, and every other despot around the world. Don't screw with the U.S.A."

The USAF has been flying active combat sorties in Syria for at least the last 12 months.
My brother is a B-52 pilot and he was deployed there from December through March. He flew a combat mission every 3-4 days while he was there.
i.e. We've been bombing the sh*t out of Syria/ISIS for a while now. 59 cruise missles at one target in one night after a heinous act catches a bit more news attention, but please do not pretend that military action in this region is just starting now.

trigger warning:
So is the ACA illegitimate too?
Actually, appointing someone to govern over you is the definition of democracy.
by pissing, did you mean following?
History Lesson: The republicans didn't change the rules, the democrats did. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Back to 1717? They took us back to before the United States existed? crazy. Agian, republicans didnt change the rules, and shocker: republicans typically nominate right-wing conservatives...
Again, thoughts on ACA?
But filibustering a SC nominee for the first times wasn't? A tactic that was commonly used by southern democrats to prevent desegregation efforts...
you guys keep saying "democracy" do you even know what that means? Hint: it doesn't mean "plays nice"

wait i though Trump took orders from Putin?!
“President Putin considers the American strikes against Syria an aggression against a sovereign government in violations of the norms of international law, and under a far-fetched pretext,” said Peskov to reporters.
“This step by Washington is causing significant damage to Russian-American relations, which are already in a deplorable state.”
Peskov reportedly continued, “Syria is our ally, considering that we are helping the Syrian armed forces at the Syrian leadership’s request.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin has come out swinging at U.S. President Donald Trump following last night’s missile strike in Syria.
According to the Washington Post, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed Trump’s explanation for the attack, stating the POTUS was simply looking for an excuse to jump into the conflict.“President Putin considers the American strikes against Syria an aggression against a sovereign government in violations of the norms of international law, and under a far-fetched pretext,” said Peskov to reporters.

Dems used the dreaded "Nuclear Option" as recently as 2013, and with much praise (and justification). jerkit:

During Ben Carson’s audit of the Housing and Urban Development, over $500 Billion in “bookkeeping errors” reportedly emerged.
According to The Daily Caller, Ben Carson’s Department of Housing and Urban Development is conducting an audit of the books for the years of the previous administration.
Carson’s audit reportedly found over $500 Billion in bookkeeping errors from 2015 and 2016. HUD’s Inspector General can’t reportedly even complete the audit yet because the books are in such bad shape.
Now that we’ve found out that we wasted over half of one trillion dollars on ‘bookkeeping errors’ under the Obama administration, maybe Carson can spend the money a touch more wisely.

Carson is such an Uncle Tom, tattling on Obama.
not shocking, since Julian Castro misspent $8 million as Mayor of San Antonio -- money he got from, wait for it...
wait for it....

I think headlines about terrorist attacks should be written like click-bait:
Police Release Photos of Suspect in Stockholm Terror Attack and you'll never guess what he looks like...
