So the dude got shot because he was running away from the cops with a knife in his hand?

Whether he was running towards or away from the cops is the subject of debate, and depends on one's perspective. He was high on PCP, and had attacked a police cruiser and slashed one of its tires a few minutes previously.

But yeah, that's the gist of it. White cop shoots armed black teenager. 16 times, to be precise. We've already had lots of protests, some of which closed down a few major highways.

I lived in Cincinnati back in 2001, when (white) officer Stephen Roach shot and killed (black) teenager Timothy Thomas. The city burned for four days in the aftermath, and martial law was imposed.

This feels familiar to me. Like, we already have actual gang leaders publicly urging everyone NOT to riot, because even they are afraid of the consequences.

The management of Hancock Tower issued a memo to all tenants today (we have one of our transmitters up there) stating that they are planning a preemptive lockdown of the building on the day the verdict is schedule to be announced. All doors locked, all elevators disabled.

It's called EAS these days.

And yeah, we'll all wondering what it's gonna be like inside schools, hospitals, theaters, museums, etc., when hundreds / thousands of phones which people thought they'd put on silent suddenly cry out as a single chorus.

I'm really hoping it's #3.

Talk about moving the goal posts.......cry for an FBI investigation and when it is finally agreed upon, cry that it isnt good enough/long enough/in depth enough etc. Have something to hide, Mrs Feinstein?

KAVANAUGH INVESTIGATION: NOTHING WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR DEMOCRATS
Editorial by Kevin Ryan

When, moments after President Trump announced his choice of Brett Kavanaugh to replace outgoing Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, a liberal group released a statement opposing the choice that began: “In response to Donald Trump’s nomination of XX to the Supreme Court…”, it was already obvious that Democrats were going to oppose Tump’s choice no matter who he nominated.

And throughout every step of the confirmation process, no matter what Kavanaugh did, it wasn’t enough for Democrats.

• When Kavanaugh released over half a million documents, more than the last 5 nominees combined, Democrats claimed it wasn’t enough, and asked what he was hiding.

• When Kavanaugh repeatedly reassured Democrats that he believed Roe vs. Wade was settled law, they insisted instead that he would overturn the law.

• After Kavanaugh skated through his confirmation hearings unscathed, Democrats submitted 1,278 follow-up questions to him, more than were submitted to every past nominee in history… combined. And he answered them.

• When an FBI background check, the sixth of his career, produced nothing disqualifying or damaging, Democrats leaked uncorroborated sexual assault accusations and demanded the Judiciary Committee reopen the hearings.

• When the Judiciary Committee reopened the hearing, and testimony from accuser Christine Blasey Ford failed to provide any corroborating evidence, Democrats demanded the FBI investigate.

And now that President Trump has ordered the FBI to investigate, Democrats will invariably say it’s not enough. Indeed there are already complaints that the FBI is not doing enough, and calls for a full criminal investigation. This ignores that fact that a federal criminal investigation requires a federal crime to have occurred, and no such crime is alleged. And the only authority with jurisdiction to investigate Ford’s accusations, the Maryland State Attorney’s Office, has already replied to calls for an investigation by pointing out that no criminal complaint has been filed, and even if it were, the statute of limitations has run out.

“To date, there have been no criminal reports filed with the Montgomery County Department of Police that would lead to the initiation of any criminal investigation related to Judge Kavanaugh. Furthermore, the law at the time the offense occurred is the law that must be applied to any charges that might be brought. For example, in 1982, assault and attempted rape were both misdemeanors and subject to a one-year statue of limitations,” The Montgomery County Chief of Police and State's Attorney said in a joint statement.

Either way, no matter the outcome of any investigation, Democrats will say it wasn’t enough. That’s because, right from the beginning, they had no intention of ever voting for Kavanaugh, one of the most well qualified nominees in history. And that has nothing to do with how many documents he provided or questions he answered or background checks he passed. They’re not going to vote for him for one simple reason.

He’s not a liberal activist judge.

not a deep state.

Last month, President Trump ordered the DOJ and FBI to immediately declassify the underlying documents behind the Obama administration's decision to start spying on the Trump campaign.

These are the initial surveillance warrants that the Obama administration used to convince a judge to authorize their surveillance of Donald Trump and his aides.

President Trump is the top classification authority in the United States. He has the authority to unilaterally classify or declassify whatever government documents he wants. On paper, no one else in government has the authority to overrule him.

Which is why this is so remarkable. The Deep State flat-out refused to comply with Pres. Trump's order. They refused to declassify the evidence and deferred the direction to the DOJ's Inspector General to decide whether Trump's directive is 'proper.'

The reason for their treason is simple. They know that if the American people learn about how the Trump-Russia investigation began — with a uncorroborated Clinton campaign smear document — the whole investigation would be shut down. The Deep State is on a mission to correct what the American people 'got wrong' in 2016 and remove Trump from office. That is why they're refusing to release the documents.

There is no other way to describe it: This is a coup d'etat.

[/QUOTE]

Is it just me, or did anyone else think that one strand of hair hanging over her face during the entire interview was so obviously scripted (not to mention her oh-so-weak and wavering voice). Numerous times during the interview, she brushes back the hair on that side of her head, but always conveniently misses the strand that hangs directly in front of her eye . . . and then puts her glasses on over top of it! Puuuleez.

I heard Brett mailed Ricin to the pentagon 36 years ago...

if you watch any of her answers during that inquiry it will make you cringe. Any grown woman who tries to be that "cute"--especially in such a serious setting--has issues, and they stem from Daddy; not Brett.

I'm going through therapy in 2012 because i wanted a second front-door in 2008, because of ptsd from Brett, so I could violate local zoning laws to rent a second self-contained unit to Google employees and local students...

Scott Adams observes:
If everyone’s already decided how they’ll vote on Kavanaugh
What’s the point of having an FBI investigation?
The facts cannot ever be known
The outcome therefore, won’t be changed
President Trump calls the Democrat party “con artists”
Behind closed doors, Dem leadership is laughing at their followers
The system developed by our founders is being stress tested.
He's not wrong.
