Sounds good to me. I have seen a lot more violent drunks than pot-heads.

I've seen a lot more dumbass worthless pos kids that smoke weed than not. Maybe those kids were worthless prior to starting, but maybe those drunks were violent before alcohol. Either way all this country needs is more drunks and pot heads. But CA is so worthless anyways I guess it doesn't really matter.

If you don't have a system like the electoral college that reduces options down to two parties with basically centrist positions, then you have dozens of minority parties, and a bare plurality can elect a government that almost none of the citizenship actually supports.
unfortunately for the right, I have a feeling that the "tea party" party (if it coalesces as a party) will mostly stand to reduce the size of the republican party and to a much lesser degree, the democratic party.

but that's just naive speculation.

If you want weed, you will get it. Legalizing it might make it cheaper but frankly I doubt it will have much of an impact on much else.

It will however kill the prison industry. A huge portion of our inmates are non-violent pot-heads. maybe we will no longer have 1% of our population in jail draining our cash through private contractors while demanding free cable and cookies through the courts.

If the Tea Party were to form (and they wont) they would put Palin at the head and they wont have a chance at anything. Your right though, not a lot of Dems or left-center independents would go to them.

I bet anyone that would actually vote for a "Tea Party" candidate is already voting for Libertarian or Constitutionalist Party candidates anyway...

What's worse: retaliating to destroy the destroyers or to loot and destroy another's mind/life?

I condone the violence from the tea parties, as I do the riot we had in Richmond protesting the war, as I do the union workers who use force and scare tactics in order to bite the hand that feeds them.

Same here. Neither part reflects me.

As to the OP, any proof or arrests, etc showing it was a "tea partier"?

HOLY ****!!!!!

'Unruly' revelry after Maryland game leads to 28 arrests in College Park - washingtonpost.com

The incident was probably less serious than the melee after the university's Final Four loss to Duke in 2001, when a mob started fires and caused about $500,000 in damage. It also was less severe than in 2002, after the team's national championship victory, when at least 17 people were arrested, six police cars were damaged and three state troopers injured.

Right. My point is just that the Tea Party, if it ever officially forms, is unlikely to pull many Republican votes -- the people who are willing to toss away a vote on an unelectable candidate are already voting for Libertarian and Constitutionalist Party candidates.

i really hate the far left they seem to think they are far better than the average joe. consider the lot of us a bunch of dumb knuckedraggers.
while they tend to be more educated it's all of us blue coller workers that make up the pushing force of america.
were getting bent over and dry fucked by this adminastration with no regrard for what we want. it's just heath care but how are we to pay for all this taxes will have to go up.
he is spending our money like a ghetto ------ at the first of the month cashing his welfare check. what are we going do at the end of the month when there is no money and there isn't going to be another first off the month?

We need a socially liberal, fiscally conservative party.

Government substitutes for morality the following rule of social conduct: you may do whatever you please to your neighbor, provided your gang is bigger than his.

I don't think its anger about just healthcare. I think its just the pot boiling over on people being sick of the Govt.
