pusha,
Why did he not deserve a court trial?
Should suspected rapists and murderers not get one?
Anyone suspected of "hate crimes"?
A blogger who says "the gov't sucks, people should rise up"?
The power of a government to just decide that a citizen can be assassinated without a court trial, is extremely dangerous.

Do you trust your gov't?
Do you trust them when they say the free market is great at producing ever-cheaper better cellphones but the same evil capitalists cause health care to be broken and that the solution is a gov't takeover?
It seems like you trust the gov't when it comes to foreign policy, and you trust them when they tell you that "they hate us for our freedoms", and that some ******* on the other side of the world should be killed without a trial.
If you're so concerned about the cost of a court trial, why aren't you concerned about the cost of having troops in 100+ countries?
The cost of 3 wars?
The cost of Medicare entitlements? (> $200k per taxpayer, ON TOP of existing taxes, over the next 30 years)

That's a good little American, pusha. Keep it up. If you don't, you too could end up on the kill list.

More paranoid delusions from the anti government fringe.
I secretly suspect that you fellas had no problem with this action it just fits your conspiracy theory mentality. Come on, it's way easier to classify Al-Awlaki as an enemy combatant than many of the people who were in Gitmo. He represented a persistent threat to American citizens. Hell, I am not generally in favor of the drone strikes(imagine if Pakistan killed 30 people at a wedding with a missle strike on US soil-but it's totally ok for the US sorry collateral damage), but this is just twisting things out of proportion. I suppose it is not ok to kill him but it would be ok to capture him and then torture the **** out of him in a nonjudicial prison somewhere? Right Dick Cheney? So much for constitutional rights.
Next up are the tea baggers and their guns along with the death lists for grandma and grandpa, oh wait I bet they'll use the UFOs right?

Old people get healthcare because we told them they would - but there needs to be a ******* limit on that ****. For future healthcare recipients, we need to make sure that the reasonable economic gain from saving some old, chain-smoking, alcoholic, fat ***** life exceeds the economic cost of doing so. How can you expect someone to put effort into their own health if they know we're going to fix their problems for them? Here's a cheap solution: stop ordering a triple cheeseburger and super size fries and go for a damn jog, quit smoking because that ****'s nasty, stop justifying your existence with alcohol, and make financial plans for FACT that you're going to get old.
I blame 2 things for the demise of the homosapien.
1: the ability to reason
2: medicine
Here's why:
As animals with primal minds (which we still do very much in fact have), before we developed the ability to reason, we would seek out only the best genetic mates. We had ways of determining the best mates, too: ever see a ******* hot *** woman? That's your primal mind telling you "go **** her". For girls it works a little differently - one of the key indicators that a guy is genetically pristine is if he is surrounded by other attractive women. This wasn't a problem in pre-reasoning society that had no idea the difference between "monogamy/polygamy". (Other indicators were related to the ability to protect and provide for the girl - a.k.a. muscles - ever been in a theater when a really ripped guy pulls up his shirt on the big screen?) A guy with only one girl was simply young and hadn't attracted more mates yet. Guys that weren't prime humans didn't get any girls at all, and thus, they were removed from the gene pool. Similarly, ugly girls were also eliminated. However, once we decided to be ******* morons and develop the ability to reason, ugly girls were able to reason that they would never find a strong protective man, and weak short men were able to reason that they would never have a supermodel - as a result, the weak short men decided that it would be okay to hook up with the ugly girl and vice versa, and thus, a new breed of super fucktards was born. Wal-Mart became a success shortly thereafter.
With regards to how medicine has fucked us up, think about this: how many people with genetic diseases survive because of medicine? blood diseases? diabetics? hypertension? What if they didn't have that medicine? Wouldn't they die? How would they breed if they died? The genetic disease wouldn't proliferate (is that the right word?) it would simply end with the person who got the disease in the first place. Wouldn't it? How would we pay for the dude having his 8th triple-bypass surgery? Trick question....we wouldn't have to. He would pay for it himself...if he had been able to afford his first seven triple bypass surgeries.
As a society, we put wayy too much value on human life. Our great great grandparents would be ashamed.
Sorry about narkin' on u 18.

We also don't harbor known terrorists. Maybe if they actually gave a flying **** that these guys are hiding out in their own backyard, killing Americans, then we wouldn't have to blow **** up.

Al-whateverthefuckhismaneis was a bad ************. He was an enemy of the US and our way of life, he and those like him need killing in a bad way. Our government isn't in a conspiracy to kill us. If you don't want the gov to kill you, just don't be a terrorist.
