I don't want to back either side because they both suck and would likely kill us in our sleep if given the opportunity.

Don't they always?
Look at the Mujahedeen/AL Qaeda.
Even Saddam was recruited by the CIA to assassinate the then-president. (attempt was botched)

U.S. 'backed plan to launch chemical weapon attack on Syria and blame it on Assad's regime'
Leaked emails from defense contractor refers to chemical weapons saying 'the idea is approved by Washington'
Obama issued warning to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad last month that use of chemical warfare was 'totally unacceptable'

So John Kerry is for the war? How long before he is against it? What's the over/under on that?

War on poverty, war on drugs, etc. Congress pretty well sucks at war. They pretty well suck at foreign relations, too.

Rape, pillage, murder, drop bombs with airplanes on civilians, etc.

A little nerve gas and all of a sudden we care?

*Syria doesn't have a Rothschild owned central banking system*?

If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand.

“With respect to Arab countries offering to bear costs and to assess, the answer is profoundly yes,” Kerry said. “They have. That offer is on the table.”

“In fact, some of them have said that if the United States is prepared to go do the whole thing the way we’ve done it previously in other places, they’ll carry that cost,” Kerry said. “That’s how dedicated they are at this. That’s not in the cards, and nobody’s talking about it, but they’re talking in serious ways about getting this done.

There are many incidents of kangaroos drowning dogs in Australia.

OK, lets be real here; Assad has been kicking "the rebels" asses of late, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever for him to invite trouble by gassing some hapless citizens when UN Inspectors *that he invited to Syria* were only a few miles away. This whole thing stinks of False Flag, regardless of how many horrific images of dead children they show us. I won't presume to guess who might actually have been the ones to drop Sarin on Syrians (cough cough Israel? Wildman Bandar in Saudi Arabia? CIA? Syrian insurgents?) but I'll bet the farm it sure as hell wasn't Assad, who is undoubtedly an ******* but not a stupid one.

To the greater "Liberal vs Conservative" side-taking and name-calling that seems to always surround these discussions, allow me to bestow a Clue upon you- The guys on "your side" are not on *your* side, none of these bastards in power have any desire to act in *your* interest, nor in mine. This whole Two Party System is little more than Pro Wrestling, and like good morons we cheer and boo the carefully scripted drama while the Smart Guys huddle in the Box Office and count the suckers money.
