Cool, Jason.

Thanks for the tip.

...or we could just do some upgrades to our cars where we don't need the stock regulator any more. :)

It would be cool to have say, the 8V and 10V pressure/flow curves so we can judge what resistor would work and what the switchover should be.

Or 12v for typical voltage drop :)

Will do, we've sent out almost 100 pumps across our dealer/installer network. We've had a few reports come in, and many of the timelines for the builds are coming up soon. I'll probably have a busy week, next week.

LSX 'vette filter/regulator combo like the V8 swap guys do.

Here's your instructions:

Just giving you guys a heads up, we are expecting to have a these in quantity later this week.

Let me know if anyone is needing a pump for a build and I should be able to get you to one of our dealers that has them ready to ship.

Deatschwerks 02-15-2011 03:21 PM

This was faster than expected, but we have our DW301 in-stock and ready to ship!

My fuel pump just died so I'll be giving you guys a call in the morning. You have a drop in fitment for a 99, right? I understand that it will max out the FPR at idle, I'll just tune around it.

Deatschwerks 02-21-2011 02:19 PM

ASX, did you get everything taken care of?

bbundy 02-22-2011 06:23 PM

whats the differance between the 1990-93 pump and the 94-97? I thought all the NA's installations were the same.

In for interested

Deatschwerks 02-25-2011 11:10 AM

Bob,

The 90-93 uses a seal and an oring to connect the pump to the sending unit, and the 94+ use a hose with barbed fittings on the pump and sending unit. There might be some other slight differences, but I've only had personal experience installing one of our pumps in my 10AE.

Asx 02-27-2011 10:50 PM

In and running! I'll have to retune some to fix where autotune compensated for the dying stock pump and then life will be good.

That explains why the Walbro for 90+ comes with the hardware to mount it in both configurations.

My current pump was a larger Denso Supra unit but everything was modified and custimized to make it fit. I think the fact the sock pickup was slightly offset from where the stock position was might have been contribuiting to my annoying fuel starve issues while hard cornering on 275 Hoosiers.

Bob

Same thing happened to me. There was a rigged up Supra pump installed by the previous owner in the LS1 car. I had fuel starvation issues on the track below 1/2 tank. The pickup was not right. I replaced it with a Walbro, problem gone.

So will it work on a 93 chassis? or what needs to be done to make it work. I will be ordering one soon.

I got the pump it looks Identical the way it hooks up as the walbro. Im going to use the walbro hardware which includes a little aluminum spacer and a longer bolt because the pump like the walbro is about 1/4" longer than stock.

I want this. Bob let us know how this works out for you. I could also give a shit less about noise.

Deatschwerks 03-10-2011 05:58 PM

Jared, you crack me up. :P

Noise reduction is a bonus. ...plus it will help out when you are shooting your next round of vids.

Hey guys/gals...

We have the Miata install kits available again for these.

They took a hiatus and now they are back.
