Default 1.6L turbo kit question

I am rather new to the miatas and am looking to eventually put a turbo on mine (91). I ran across this turbo yesterday but wanted a few opinions before making any sort of purchase. I posted a link of the kit below. Let me know whether you believe the kit is legit or if i would be wasting my time.

I've seen much worse. It's not pretty but it doesn't look horrible.

the turbo is a descent size and should spool well and should support a tad over 250rwhp.

make sure everything is included; the oils lines, waters line, all the couplers and tubing, etc.

for the price it's well worth it....the guy selling it must be going to community college if he can't raise $400 in a few weeks. Just be careful about the sale.

...and the megan manifold and downpipe.
I'd say this stuff is good for the money, but far from good.

the mani and downpipe are iffy, but for the price its not bad at all. Just rember watch out for detionation seeing as it has no intercooler, or timeing control.

the problem is the manifold and downpipe are ebay specials. thin material that have been known to crack/fail. the price is right, but if it crack you'll have to remove and reweld, and most lieky figure out so some of bracing/support to prevent it from happening again.

5psi of boost for $400 sounds very tempting. If anything it will get you started.

i contacted him to he sent me some videos, i looks decent except like you said the chinese down pipe, and manifold, he wants 525 shipped with in the states, but then he said theres a 4.9% and 3.9% fee on paypal or some ****, so you can take it if you want if i bought it he would probably jew me to 600$ or more. IM just going to save up to get a Begi-s kit probably.

prob not its the whole kit. It will make gas mileage better if you drive normal ahaha but that probably wont happen because you know when you have a turbo you will gun it and drain the gas. You can upgrade though put and intercooler setup, and then maybe after that get bigger injectors and MegaSqurit, but thats down the road, and big $$$
