Default 16g Turbo kit.

A lot of these on kits on Ebay for 1000$. Intercooler and all. I know you guys tend to not like the cheap ebay stuff. Are they any good? Ayone running these?

Have no idea what you guys are talking about. Anyone can answer me clearly? There is some issue with this kit?

here are the problems as I understand them. 1) The turbo is more than likely not a genuine MHI turbo, 2) The manifold while being SS is a very thin gauge and is prone to cracking, and 3) The bolt hole on the DP that is inside the first radius bend does not have clearance to actually put a bolt through there to secure the turbo. There are potentially other problems with the kit that I don't know about, but I have only read about those actual pieces. Keep in mind that a good price on a genuine evo III 16g would be around $500 give or take if bought brand new.

Very good he is correct. Also the Downpipe needs to be reaimed to mate with the Cat and mitsu 16g's are 500+ for new ones unless you get a GT or some killer deal wich i want to. Overall these are not insurmountable. But if you expect it to just plop into place you are asking to much.

The kit is far from an actual kit. Most the components are junk or need modifying to fit right. A buddy of mine has 2 drift days under his belt with his and the car has no trouble drifting 3rd gear. So far the manifold and turbo are holding up ok.
