You can fill a 1.6 with bottles of mechanical empathy, two of the big ones, and it will still pop.
And who measures crank hp on this forum? You got an engine dyno in your *** or something? Measurable hp comes from the wheels on a street car. OEMs and race car shops may have engine dynos but we don't.

Funny story - I had this convo on nabisco, and we arrived at the conclusion that the real number is somewhere in between. It does vary though, not directly proportional, which I can actually accept.
