Default Afr Gauge -Injectors Help!

Hi
  1. I have gotten my miata to start and seemingly function. My afr gauge though seems to be very sensitive to something. It will appear to work than all of the sudden it will stop. Before turning the engine on it read 22.4(which makes sense). It idled at 11(rich). I tried to drive it around the block. It seemed to be at acceptable afr values while driving. Now after the drive, It just blinks 7.4. I checked the power , it read 12volts. I am at a loss. It has been open air calculated several times and this problem keeps coming back. It is a lc-2 gauge.
  2. I'm not sure what to change for the ev14 650 cc injectors I had installed. I made a few changes to the injector settings, changed the required fuel settings and changed the ve table so the idle cells were at 70. It started idling at 850 since than. Though when I start it and turn it off, the second time I need to set the valve to full open( itll rev to 2000) and than change back to closed(it'll rev at 850). I don't think it is a vaccum leak because the boost gauge has 20 at idle.
Is it possible the richness is messing up the afr gauge? Do I need to change pulsewidth setting for the injectors more? Any help is appreciated. I attached my current tune and the log from that drive. The car is a 1.8 95 miata.Thanks. I appreciate the help!

I Grounded it off the engine block. I used the bolt that is right next to the coils. I reset it. It read 22.4 . I tried to start it. It ran at 10.4 afr to 9.9. I turned it off. The afr gauge now reads 10.8 very slowly getting leaner after I waited a small bit with the engine off. I will check later to see if this returns to 22.4. My guess the rich exhaust is sitting in the exhaust? At least not blinking 7.4 is progress? I assume it is not getting enough air for some reason? Maybe the iac settings? It is idling at 850 .

Later I decided to try one other thing. I changed the valve mode to normal. The car started. Idled at 2000, but had an afr around 14.8 for a bit. As it warmed up it went to 10. I was moving the iac test number around though. The boost gauge said 20inches. I than reverted to closed. It would not start. I think it'd start if I gave it some throttle, but I did not. The afr gauge did not reset to 22.4 at any point. Hope this is relevant information also.

This may be a stupid question but which wire do you have running from the lc2 to the ecu? My lc1 has a narrowband wire and a wideband wire. I accidental hooked up the narrowband wire to my ecu and saw a similar issue.
