The 11th..

Just a quick note from me, Perry, to let all our previous and potential customers know that Cool Coatings, Inc. as a company is no longer operating.

Of course, it is complicated, and I'm not going to go into it other than saying that I will no longer be involved in this type of business. I do wish to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a sponsor here at 502SS and I will most certainly miss all of the customers we've had the opportunity to meet and hang out with. The folks I've talked with and hung out with has made this thing a great 2+ years, for sure. This was my baby, and there are many aspects of the business I will truly miss.

It is my understanding that there may be something in the works that will offer the types of services which Cool Coatings provided here in the local area. Stay tuned.

As for customers whom currently have parts with us: fear not! Your parts are being completed with the same quality and attention to detail as before. Your promised turn-around time shouldn't be affected.

And as for anyone currently seeking ceramic coating services, I might suggest you contact my Brother, Alan at 812-292-4172. I think he may be someone you want to talk to and he can assist you.

Thanks for the memories, fellas.

It actually looks like Alan might have already setup, I see they've changed the page to say "Cool Coat INC", as opposed to "Cool Coatings INC"

That's good because $100 for a mani and turbine is damn good compared to most places.

No, someone else suspected that. Corky knows the whole story, he doesn't have to suspect what happened.

Not to pick on Corky, because he's awesome, but haven't they been making 4-1 equal length manifolds for years and years? not necessarily speaking of Miatas, but it's not exactly a new concept...

And is there some way to update the forum software so that anytime someone starts a new thread about SSAutoChrome, the software will rename the thread title "I didn't do a search"?...

I just had to add to the equal length craziness. This is Keith Tanner's going on the 200hp targa miata. I'm curious to see what kind of power it makes over the off the shelf. My guess is you need a 400hp 4 cylinder to really take advantage of something like that.

No, he has been making 4-1 equal length manifolds for years.... just not for a Miata. He's made all kinds of crazy crap you'll probably never hear about or see for that matter, but a trip to his shop can be very educational...
