Default BEGi-S inventory and instructions

Parts of my BEGi-S kit arrived today. I was looking through the inventory sheets and it looks like each bag is filled and labelled correctly. However, when I look at the instructions, the directions for each bag does not match the actual contents.

Did anybody else have this issue?

Thanks!

As long as everything is there, which is the most important thing, this issue you seem to have shouldnt matter.

Thanks Sam, but I'm asking people who have installed a BEGi kit if they have the same issue with their instructions. If it's typical then I won't bother Stephanie on Moday morning. But, if it's something that needs to be brought to their attention then I will give them a call.

But yeah, I can figure out how everything goes together as long as everything is there and there is something to follow.

When some of us helped Budget Racer last week, it seemed like there were more parts than the instructions called for, and the bags did not seem to match the instuctions all that well, but I got there late.

Check the position of the bungs in your downpipe before assembling(hold it in place under the car), you may need to go to a local muffler guy to get them moved or additional ones in the right places.

Thanks Bruce. I noticed the same thing regarding parts to instructions. I'll check the DP when it arrives.

Also, you have a PM regarding the Autotune.

It was the same with my instructions. I sent Stephanie a couple of corrections but there were several more I didn't bother with. The only missing parts from my kit so far are the turbo to manifold locknuts.

Ok, cool.

I won't worry about it then.

I think the consensus was that the instructions where included for comedic value.

same here when i help install an S1. Name was printed on each bag, which was a nice touch, however, they didnt match the label in the instructions, no matter...take an inventory.

I definately found mistakes in the instructions as to what bag goes to what exactly. Overall it was not that bad and I know I have random bags with left over things in then. I installed most of the stuff just by guessing and going in what seemed to be a logical order.

Well Corky bags all of the parts himself and the items in each bag are correct. The issue is that who ever made the directions did not confirm what bag #'s when typing the directions. I also had several picture references in the instructions and their was not a picture on the sheets to ref to. This was my first full turbo install so I am no pro at it thats why I depended on the instructions for everything.

Stephanie would be the guilty one. I actually just removed all the bag # references in the instructions. With all of the the customization, bags get re-numbered and it does not work so well any more. I am open to suggestions... I do apologize for all the confusion.
Stephanie

p.s. if you have a BEGi-S with some upgrades, those will not be in the instructions yet either. I am fixing that right now, and will post on web ASAP.
