but at least it will be lighter and better at the corners. also revs higher so more upper HP's than 1.8. Can't wait to be finished with this project!

well, what are you bewsting? the 1.6 or the 1.8? lol

because that would be an even bigger waste of money, especially if you still want to swap to a 1.8 later (which you wont have if you trade for bewst parts) because you will need a different manifold.... one of the most expensive parts

Just read it, but he said he wants to build/boost the 1.8... if he trades the 1.8 for turbo ****... then he will have an engine bay with nothing but a turbo setup.... so this kindof turned into a 1.6 build, with no plans to do a 1.8 later
