Default Can I still drive it?

All right, I need to take off my Bipes/AFPR/O2Clamp/FuelPump/Injectors... but I still would like to drive the car.

My thought was that I can disconnect the wastegate arm and run w/no boost. But I know that I still make 1-1.5psi at WOT with it disconnected. Since it actually takes WOT to produce any boost w/the arm disconnected... I think it would probably be safe to take off everything except the 305's and still be able to drive it providing I keep my foot out of it. The 305's would give me a little more fuel in open loop in case I transition into boost w/a little too much throttle. Do you think the 305's will help at all or can I go back to my original blue-tops?

Anybody have thoughts? Have I missed anything?

If i can drive my car around staying out of boost with my wg still attached i don't see why you should have any problems.

I drove around for a few days with the wategate wired open. it wasnt fun.

try not to go WOT, watch your boost gauge, keep it just under 0~hg.

but if you do make a pound or two, you should be perfectly fine.

I'd say if you do disconnect the actuator arm, wire the wastegate itself open too. If you don't it's free to rattle around and make all kinds of racket. I drove like this for a few days and it drove me NUTS!

he sold all those parts and is upgrading to MS. but in the meantime I suspect he still wants to drive the car.

I drove my car home from the shop where my midpipe was set up on the baseline MSPNP map. Just don't get into boost.

I can imagine staying out of boost (without wiring the wastegate open) while merging onto a highway could be pretty hard especially if you have some breathing mods done.
