You used a 2.5" right?

Yah use that ******* thing from jegs. Also I recommend gaskets at the flanges where ur midpipe connexcts to ur downpipe and exhaust. I had a huge leak at those flanges since I was runninh gasketless. Order up some crush gaskets while u order ur jegs clamp. The smell is the joy of running catless. I hope u r using launch control or flat shift to make that poluution and 1 piddly extra hp of powar worthwhile. Launch control and flat shift willl get you instalaid by all the buttsexers

Well, I actually had the exhaust welded at the downpipe to midpipe connection. The only gasketless spot I have right now is where the downpipe connects to the turbo. Would it be worthwhile to have a gasket for right there?

edit> This?

Mr. Gasket 5960 Mr. Gasket Bulk Gasket Material
Huh? Pic of gasketless spot please. I vote for gaskets everywhere though.

For a gasket, if you want to be uber DIY and a cheapass get that and cut your own. Or save time and get this:

RallySportDirect.com - Remflex Generic 3" Exhaust Gasket 2 Bolt

Or one like it.

I don't have a gasket here:

Hope you don't mind that I used your picture for demonstration purposes stranges12712.

I dunno. If I had that flange, I would gasket it. I might gasket my turbo-manifold connection when I reinstall.

What do the experts here think? I am not an expert.

My turbo to manifold, much like most of the members here are leak free without a gasket. So long as both surfaces are true you wont have an issue. If they aren't, then you'll need a gasket, but it will eventually fail and fail and fail so long as the surfaces remain warped.

I ultimately needed to put a gasket between my turbo and DP after about 3 years running the setup. I believe my DP flange is out of true and fail to seal against the turbo.

I never used a gasket there, its just flange to turbo, no leaks as of yet and ive had it like that all last year, hopefully it holds up this year.

Calipers are your friend.... Or use a tape measure and do the math backwards for circumference.
