You should look at some of Emilio's posts about the custom undercarriage pans he created. I believe he had hard evidence that the car had less lift with the bellypans than without. Personally, you shouldn't even need hard evidence; it should be pretty obvious that the car would have more lift if air isn't able to smoothly flow from the front to the back of the car but get sucked up into the engine bay. Not to mention that it makes your intercooler and radiator less efficient, as they'll be fighting to make airflow happen across a lower pressure differential.

Oh, and magna, you've just gotta start using periods and commas one of these days. Your posts are ridiculous to read...like, same order of magnitude as Rican's. There...did that get you riled up enough to start using them?

Yeah I got a pic....I had overheating issues without it over 100mph....now I've run at 135mph without a blip on the gauge.



basically just had to cut the sides a bit, and had to trim the front splitter shorter....

I have a beef with the second one:

It wouldn't be that much more difficult, but would be a lot more effective, to continue the shroud PAST the radiator, to promote flow THROUGH the rad rather than simply TO the radiator.

 

that's why I made my scoop and keep the bellypan

 

its one in a million, but ive seen people hit stuff before, and come up to bite them. I would try to leave it on or make your own, just for SOME sake of safety
