cool. Im ---- about exhaust leaks so im going to pick up a tube of that copper RTV silicone now.

i can see your exhaust now... wether its on a flange or a weld.... this guy is gonna have orange goo smeared all over his pipes...

Solve one problem and another one will follow.

The cross bolt on my DP fell out on the freeway today. I ran sans the crossbolt for like 2 weeks but at an autox the lower piping separated and rested on the subframe. Decided to put it in and it lasted 2 days :(

I'm thinking of just using a metal coathanger and wiring the pieces together. It doesn't seem to be leaking at all right now.

why not just run another bolt through there and tack the head of the bolt to the flange... allowing you to run a nut up on there... thats what i did on all my flanges.
