Is magnamx5 still using a Megan/obx manifold? He's probably the forum's leading expert on thin walled metal if he has managed to keep it together.

I like the placement; I put it sorta there on my last manifold. I never like the long runners but whatev. I don't backpurge my manifolds either UT OHHHHH did I say that? If you don't heat it up too much it won't sugar too badly. Muhahahaahaaaaaa all you fools I gotch yo money suckersssszzzzz!

ARTech FTW.

What's wrong with the PT5557? No love for precision here, I know. I seriously hope those dyno numbers were at 4-5psi.

Back to the chinese uniform USA Olympians. Ralph Lauren FTL.

Probably because their smallest turbo is rated for 450hp, lol. Interestingly enough, I watched a few vids and read a few threads about some tests with the new PTE turbos vs. the EFR's (large frame turbos) and the PTE's were better in nearly every single category.

What about the turbine wheel exploding category? eh eh eh?

I'm kind of starting to like the precision turbos.

Haha.

They have a great rep now with their new line of PTE/CEA turbos now that they are making their own CHRA's and wheels. Before it was just Garrett parts. Now it's super hyper baller level 99

Then again, if you're not aiming for 500+hp, then it's not really important, lol.

They machine their logo into the side of some of the impeller blades (billet wheel). You have to look down in between the blades to see it. I thought that was pretty cool, totally unnecessary but a nice touch. Quality of the PTE compressor housing casting is much better than the garretts. Quality of the (iron) PTE vband turbine housing is a tick better (surface finish wise) than the 'beautiful' tial stainless housings.

This thread makes me sad because It makes me realize I dont know ---- about turbos.
I saw the turbo and was like damn thats bitch is huge for 200whp, but then I was scared to post cause I realized I have no ------ Idea what I'm talking about.

Seems like overkill for 200whp when people are making that on a $150 1.6 taco taco manifold and a churbo.

I wonder if the 200whp break in is true or if they used that as an excuse, because they knew when they put it online, people who knew what they were talking about would see it and didnt want to look like they robbed some guy.

No thanks. I'd love to see my 40lb Holset sit on this bitch at that angle after 15 pulls to 130mph.
