Default Cx racing thick walled tubular t3 manifold

Has anybody seen this manifold floating around eBay and cx's website? Looks like a daily decent piece of craftsmanship. Any experience with this manifold or opinions?

idk... CX racing is known to make manifolds that come from Cracksville...
Im curious what THEIR definition of "thick walled" is...
for the most part, we all avoid ebay manifolds around here... lol

I completely understand the reason to avoid china manifolds lol. It's hard to know if the batch that your buying from is decent quality material or utter garbage. It appears to be better quality then the shorty manifolds out. And the listing states 304 stainless. List price is $450. I don't want to be the guinea pig on this. For that price a known reputable fabricator like Abe can make a reliable manifold. Might be worth a shot if the quality is durable and will hold up to abuse well.

18psi do you have the link? I spent some time searching and kept getting hits for crx intercooler setups or the crappy "shorty" manifolds.

I still think its legit and will work at least for a few years without any extra bracing. Its from the American development portion of CXracing that makes other pimpy looking manifolds for cars and tons of decent looking v8 swap kits. There's like two lines of stuff from CXracing. The shitty normal ebay stuff and the designed in the USA made in china stuff that is pretty darn decent.

And to be fair there still wasnt any info in those threads and if he'd bumped either one you all'ed be up his ***.

Yes, 1.5" od 10ga 304ss. which is in between sch10 and sch40 in thickness and in between 1.5" pipe and 1.25" pipe in diameter.

Looks a ton better than the normal ebay trash floating around. However, $450 will put you damn near a quality tubular manifold, so why bother?

A comparible manifold from abe would be closer to $750 based on my last quote for a ramhorn. This is significantly cheaper. That being said my turbo is currently with Abe for one of his proven setups.

that looks like it would be a nightmare for a downpipe fab and the intake would be pointing straight into the headlight motor on NA's.

if there is a picture of one on, I wouldn't mind seeing to re-evaluate.

I'm pretty sure I paid Abe $500 shipped for my side-mount EWG manifold....

And swaintech coated...

I don't think its fair to compare the two manifolds considering one is a top mount long tube and the other is a side mount axial. Abe also makes top mount long tubes and they are significantly more expensive that $500 shipped. Lets keep it apples to apples. I am not saying that this CX racing one is necessarily on par with Abe's manifolds in either flow or durability but we really don't know unless someone tries one. I would like to see more constructive discussion about this manifold then nut hugging on Abe and shitting on CX racing because of their ebay ****.
