What A/R hotside do you have? (.64, .80, .85)

What are your basic engine modifications (stock displacement, stroker, stock heads, fully built heads)

What is your turbo manifold design? (bottom mount ram horn, top mount, log, tubular side mount)

What RPM is your boost threshold? (RPM when you reach positive manifold pressure)

What RPM do you hit target boost, and what is your target boost?

Thank you so much,
Marcello

I'm just curious, that's all. The 6258 won't flow as high as I want. I'm shooting for mid to high 400's 35psi. all V-band

Soviet, what hotside do you have? If you don't mind sharing.

I have the .64 I believe. The OG one.

High 400s and 35psi is what you want? If you're after the genuine "Stomp the gas, **** the pants" experience, I'd recommend to skip the 6x58 turbos and go straight to a twin scroll 7163. It should spool as fast if not faster than single scroll 6758.

Twin scroll is only available in T4 flange, but it's a small price to pay for the exercise your sphincter will do every time you drive.

my spool data is here, btw

25psi @ 3500 rpm

"sensor01" is turbine speed sensor.

That's kind of why I bought a miata, to make a sphincter exercise program.

Hm, the 7163 twin scroll is only available with the T4 and IWG.

Thanks for your responses. They were helpful, and now I have more to mull over!

Why does soviet hit 35psi 300rpm before you hit 14psi?

You want to run a GT35/35x and not a 7163?

^no, just found the v-band twinscroll. I really want to keep all the hotside connections v-band. I didn't think the garret housing fit, but it's nice to know they are out there.

Wait a sec, but the 6758 vband is 0.85 anyways? Why not the 7163?

It doesn't come in V-band and EWG, otherwise, I would already have bought a turbo

Yes, it does. The first option: BorgWarner EFR 7163 Turbo - Full-Race.com

But is that Twin Scroll? Is that what we are trying to find now?

Or am I confused?

I don't believe the EFR twin-scroll has a v-band option, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I meant that the 7163 doesn't come in V-Band, Twin Scroll, and EWG.
