Sry guys, my buddy typed that on his Iphone on the hour long drive home from RI. the plug that came with my FM manifold (that i knew probably wasnt the right pitch) fell out on the highway... leaving me dumping my exhaust strait into my upper heater hose. I temperarly installed a 3/4 NPT plug in there but im pretty sure thats not the right thread.

ANY help would be great, I need to drive 4 hours to NY next weekend!!~

I called FM today, FYI it is Metric M22 x 1.50

Some oil drain plugs are this.

Searching the internet i found that a 1996 DODGE RAM 3500 PICKUP 5.9L 359cid L6 DIESEL MFI Turbo has the correct size drain plug. I will get one from napa tomorrow.

For posterity's sake, this exhaust manifold EGR plug is for the 99-00. The 94-97 and 01-05 need an NPT cap.

Found by chance that my Cap I use for my 01-05 header fit perfectly together with the O2 sensor plug. My cap is made up of a pipe thread end and some sheet metal, low tech and dirt cheap.
So that thread is the same as for the lambda bung (M18x1.5 uses 22mm spanner), unsure if the 98-00 use the same threads (if so there might be plugs lying around anywhere a WB-kit have been used).

I am running a 2003 engine with the stock Header in my 93. any chance there is a size on that NPT cap? I am in the same boat!
