I'm running 225-250hp on a stock pump but I'm not relying on pump pressure to cram 250hp worth of fuel thru a tiny injector. I run 550cc. If you go with an fmu for fuel "management" then get a new pump. There's NO replacement for a stand alone ecu or piggyback that give you total control via fuel/timing maps. My first setup used an fmu and a bipes and when I found an ems on ebay for $600 I was in heaven! The engine does what you tell it to for the most part. 460s+f/ic would be a sweet start.

The voodoo does just fine but like i said you are on the edge trying to cram 200whp out of it. F50 the debate is in semantics 6 or 1 horsepower halve dozen of another. Pick what you are comfortable with. For me it was personal choice to do the FPR and simplicity. MS and safc where nice and helped things out, but it was definetly not as simple as my FPR setup. So at the end of the day it is what you are comfortable with and can still afford. Software/electrical issues are alot more of a bitch to troubleshoot than mechanical things for me atleast. No matter what it is all fairly simple so long as you take your time and, show abit of determination/brains. We are here to help you no matter what you choose.

Thanks for the help. I think I will go with the voodoo box for now, and try and go ms in the future. I think the the voodoo box and bipes will serve as a good relatively simple stepping stone to get me into the boosted world, and from there I can up boost and power as my budget increases accordingly.

Thanks for all of the help.

Does the Voodoo box allow for larger injectors as well or does it only lengthen the pulse?

Ya it just lengthens injector pulses, all you adjust is the pressure at which the extra fuel starts to be added, the fuel vs pressure ramp which gets max fuel sooner, and the max fuel.

Yes. How much boost are you running right now though? Like people said (a long time ago, damn this thread is old, pre 96-97 mspnp) the voodoo box will lengthen injector pulses which will give more fuel, but it can only do so much.

The other cool thing about the voodoo box is that it has an O2 clamp integrated into it.

I am going to go mspnp this tire around.
