I just ran into a bit of money and thought hey why not. Im looking into making an exhaust but I have a few questions.

Has anyone had any experience with any brand connecting pipe? where exactly do they connect im looking to eliminate my cat. If I have to I will just take it to a muffler shop and have them build me a pipe from the headers to muffler.

Im looking for a nice exhaust tone something that isnt ricey and isnt a magna flow ya know? I want a stock tone at idle but at WOT I want it to scream like a ferrari. I read a thread about a muffler called brospeed made by bosal which seems to do what im describing but no one sells it. Has anyone had any experience with any mufflers/exhaust systems like this? I dont want to **** off my neighbors but Id like to have fun on the freeway.

I have a 1991 N/A. I just took the turbo off.

Sounds like you need a cutout. A n/a miata is loud as hell and obnoxious sounding. No exhaust that screams like a ferrari at wot will be very quiet at idle. Especially since you're n/a.
