FM turbo kit don't make power?

Who did your cat? If it was a weld in cat and a shop welded it you might want to check your flanges. The shop i used simply cut off the old exhaust and welded in the new cat reusing the old flange with the tiny 2.25" hole in the process. When it warms up i gotta open er up and drill out the hole on the flange.

Either that or your miata is some derivative of jtothawhat's. Preternaturally amazing.

Hi everyone again im a noob on turbo miata. I did some research I got a FM2 kit with link for managment. I'm currently running around 180whp at 10psi. My goal is pretty simple, I want 250whp in quick spool and low psi, i wanna keep it all 10-14psi range. Now my question is, what should i upgrade? Or should i not use FM kit and go for something else.

A 94 1.8 @ 10psi should net you ~200-210rwhp. What kind of dyno was it? If you were on a Mustang dyno, then the 180rwhp sound right and would be 220-230rwhp on a Dynojet. If you're running the tune that FM put on it, it will be for 91oct gas at a higher altitude and will be very conservative. I went from 225rwhp to 250rwhp going from FM's tune from having a local tuner in Atlanta tinker with mine (93oct and 900ft altitude).
