I love bench racing lol. Anyway, more boost on my crap timing map or try adding some midrange timing on the street and rely on my hydra for knock detection?

Between 13.1 & 13.2, at 106 or 107, with a crappy launch.
I don't have my tires yet but the new clutch will be broken in by Wednesday. It has been much cooler the last couple weeks, so we will see what happens.

If more people ordered MK Turbo kits, production would go up

you keep asking the question that cannot be answered without knowing where you are currently.

relying on a knock sensor when past the threshold of stock rods is......well.....really dumb

so may as well crank up both and hope for at least 1 glory run

I need to hurry up and build my motor so we can see what it is capable of. I also think a slightly longer/better IC would help some.

we made 360 on ryan's 1.6 with a nearly identical mani/dp combo, and I think a teeny bit larger turbo. so I have no doubts about your setup

as for OP, with e85 and rods this car would be perfect for a ALLTHETORQUE setup

What can I say, I am a glorious dummie

I only do this at the top end though to keep my rods at their threshold.

I'm talking about OP who should be making torque way earlier than you and likely at same power level

I know, just laughing since I watch my knock log so much. Really to keep my CA 91 at it's threshold.

this was my saturday. 105k 99 engine. Going "rods only" this winter. New bearings, new seals, timing components, rings, etc. and e85 in the spring.
this is my daily. my free 96 park ave that my neighbor gave me. gotta love the GM 3800...

im so jelous of people with lifts in their garages.

I dread every time i have to do anything time consuming under the car with jack stands. my neck gets tight just thinking about it.

It seems you are getting more interest/orders than you can handle, why dont you outsource the welding labor. it will lower margins, but much less work for you and more volume.

Looks pretty close, may be a bit high in a couple spots. My current map would have been done in the last 2 months or so.
I don't make boost with this setup much below 4k.
Mine is one of my daily drivers with 240k on the stock original motor.

I am also jealous of lifts.

This is true. I am not sure when that map was from.
May have been before I turned the boost up at the top.

I had a look on my phone. That is not my current map, it is a bit high in a few spots.
Might be from when I was playing with the stock setup to get engine braking how I like it.
That being said my timing map is a bit weird.
