CNC devices are awesome. You just have to have the patience to design parts precisely and then machine them. But I love them... every once in awhile I'm sad I didn't follow through with an engineering degree... then i work on mine and buddies cars... and promptly forget about the degree crap
Oh... I found out buddy got a chance to level the intake manifold runners, so measuring for plate is now able to begin.. and my plate will be done soon.

Uh, no clue when I'll get 10psi from it and the turbo is capable of 300-350. I'm still debating on running the standard turbine housing or an 82 A/R housing I picked up.
Plain ole gt28rs btw.

Please tell me your finishing your car soon and your bringing it to the west michigan honda meet on July 9th. True or not, just say it. I have a ton of stuff on the civic to fix before then, just been letting it go. Priorities.

We are going to try and have it ready. Hopefully at least able to drive it out and take some parade laps... unsure if it'll be ready for full out Gman assault.
Regardless if its done or not... I'll be out there instructing.

So an update from today.
The front tabs are actually done now, I somehow forgot to snap a final bracket picture. The front of the intercooler sits a hair lower, hood almost just rests on it with skeleton cutout.

A nice front shot. I'll be taking a little strip of sheet metal to go from base of radiator into back of bumper... so it'll be all sealed up.

Another front shot.

Shows how intercooler and radiator meet up. If you look at picture closely, you will see that both rad/ic fill up the entire area between frame rails.... less ducting work and more efficiency

One sad bit though... took exhaust housing off my used gt28rs... we were clocking it so we could get downpipe going and eyeball the super super short IC piping better.

Turbo might just get run for now.... I have an event we are trying to get the car ready for on the 9th. No housing contact... so the damage might be old and the wheel balanced itself out
Otherwise... I'll be sending it out and seeing if I can get the wheel clipped to remove rough stuff... and rebalanced.
Hopefully the seller of it will come through with some help... I don't think he knew it was damaged.. but who knows.
Lots done today... lots more to do. I've got lots more pictures... but i'll just do small updates like this... until its done... then I'll just toss up all the pictures in an album.
