Soon as I get them replaced I'll be going back. I'm also going to need an intake manifold to cure the massive torque drop to red line. But I'm happy, the car is a blast to drive and it still has plenty more potential.

Would you recommend this turbo on a built 1.8,or would you go larger?

However, since my diypnp came from Atlanta, Atlanta seems like a logical choice.

It's not even a question. If you're within 400 miles of Jerry at DIY, it's worth the drive.

Depends on what you want really, this turbo on a similar setup 1.8 should put you well 300 at 20+ psi. Just look at Savington's numbers. Granted this is a china charger and may not be as efficient as a Garrett Im sure that if my motor was 1 .8 Id be over the 300 mark already.

Phil, would a .86 Garrett housing fit on your turbo? Nobody has done a direct comparison yet.

I really have no clue, but I wouldn't mind trying.

I drove 10 hours to have Jerry tune my car, and it was worth every penny. I might even be going back this summer if I get my motor built and a bigger turbo.

That is the plan. Break in the motor and then head to Jerry at DIY. Hopefully their big project will be wrapped up by the time I'm ready. I think they said they would be close by the end of January last timed I asked about dyno time.
