ok, so my motor has been bored out to .20 over stock

i am in the market for a head gasket for turbo application.
i don't want the stock so i'm going with a cometic head gasket
i was advised to go 84MM and .40 over even though my motor is .20 over

is this a good choice?

I used a stock Fel-Pro four years and run 84mm pistons.

 

i'm 0.020" over and I'm using a stock headgasket. no problems boosting as long as you get a good seal on your head gasket. follow good torquing procedures and you'll be fine.
