You'd be better off tapping into the brake booster line with a vac manifold or whatever you can rig up than using that little tiny *** nipple by the throttle body.
I drilled and tapped my upper plenum for 1/8" NPT and now use 3/16 ID tubing i believe. Yes stock size banjo on the tial.

OK, tapped into the brake booster line of the mani and the BOV works now.
I have some surge down at low boost, but it is def opening now when it has higher boost. I will probably still get a smaller spring, but for now it is def functioning correctly.

Thank you all for helping me out..

Werd man glad to hear it. I'd like to see how the 9 psi spring works for you so make sure you post about the swap. Hopefully the 9 psi spring doesn't leak at idle.

Why would it ever leak though? If the vacuum is solid it should be fine right??

I was happy to hea that little ****** go off.

Vacuum is high at idle and our cars produce really high vacuum for a four cylinder apparently. If you put to weak of spring in it. The high vacuum will PULL the valve open by over powering the spring. Just like it would when you let off the gas while in boost. The boost doesn't open the valve, the boost helps hold it closed. Its the vacuum from closing the throttlebody that opens it up.

Ain't that the truth. It's hard as heck to depress the piston with the 11psi spring in it.
